I am keeping my giveaway extremely simple.  It is open worldwide, and there is only one entry in the rafflecopter below.  The winner will be sent a questionnaire, and from that, I will pick a perfect surprise to send to them.  I will see to it that this is ordered in time to arrive for Christmas.  I won't say whether it is books or something else.  It will depend on the winner.

I Am the Blogger of the Week At Simply Stacie!

I know I don't normally tell you to go an enter giveaways at other blogs--I often don't have the time.  But this is something special.

Head over to Simply Stacie's giveaway page this week because I am the blogger of the week!  Okay, here's the story behind that.  When I looked at the blog that had given me the most referrals last year, it was definitely hers.  I was shocked because it was not like I had entered that many giveaways in her giveaway linky last year, but I figured I would try some advertising with her.

And so I signed up for her blogger of the week program.  All that really means is that for the next week, following me on twitter (@ruthhill74) will give you additional entries into her giveaways.  I figure that my blog readers should know about this because most of you already follow me on twitter anyway.

So be sure to enter her giveaways this week!  I already entered one, and it was something to see my twitter account in her giveaway!  It is my first time doing any paid advertising, and if all goes well, I may even look into advertising on other blogs.  I guess I am truly going to another level in the blogosphere!

Free-Wheeling Friday--Ipad 2 Winner! And a Thanks to all of You!

Well, a winner has finally been selected for the big Ipad 2 giveaway.  I don't usually do a "winner" post because I  don't usually like to read them, but this is a little different.  After duplicate entries were deleted, there were more than 113,000 entries!

I want to thank all of you for making this a success.  Whether you entered or not, the fact that you are reading this means more than you might realize.  I realize that you may have liked my facebook page just to enter the giveaway, and maybe you are only following me for the same reasons.  It may be very tempting for you to now "unlike" me or "unfollow" me.  Let me encourage you not to do that.  I am up over 1000 followers now, and my facebook page fans added 1000 likes to it!  The more followers I have, the better chances I have of getting good giveaways.

I understand about following blogs to entering giveaways.  You are talking to the lady that probably follows 3000 blogs, and no, I do not read them all.  I look for giveaways, but I also look for information.  And I know that every time I join with a blogger, I am helping that fellow blogger.

Looking for Sponsors

My blog has grown so much in the past couple months that I am now making a plea for sponsors for giveaways. I am honestly looking for anyone who is willing to give away anything for my giveaways.  Okay, I know that sounds desperate, but it is true.  For the most part, I am willing to give away anything within reason to my readers.  I will only give away things that I think are good and/or can recommend wholeheartedly to my readers. I know that there are lots of companies out there who are generous and would like some exposure.  I will continue to review and directly ask sponsors if they would like to sponsor a giveaway.  But I am sure there are wonderful products out there that I know nothing about.  I would love to be one to share these products with my readers.

In addition to companies, I am sure there are talented individuals out there.  Maybe you have a business or would like to begin one.  Perhaps you just like to create things or collect things.  Maybe you have a gift box that is overflowing, and you need to get rid of some of the nice items in that box.  I am willing to hear about anything you may feel would be worthwhile to give away.  I am willing to work  with you and give you as much promotion as I can.

I am also signed up to a giveaway event hosted by Simply Stacie and Makobi Scribe called the Rafflecopter Round-Up.  This is a giveaway event taking place from September 21-25.  I am specifically looking for sponsors for this giveaway.  If you don't know the bloggers I mentioned, they are some of the best bloggers on the net with a massive following between them.

Free-Wheeling Friday--Upcoming Giveaways

Well, I have been cleared to do 3 giveaways.  I now have to get on the ball and get them posted.  You'll recognize the company,  but I won't say anything now.  I should have at least one up and running by next weekend.  Maybe all 3!  Wouldn't that be nice?  I have another lead or two on giveaways, and I am getting bolder.  I am at a point right now where I feel I can ask companies to do giveaways.  We'll see what happens there.
