TriLight Health Lympha Rub Review

I would like to tell you today about a product I have only recently discovered:  TriLight Health Lympha Rub.     I have always read about the health benefits of essential oils, and I have used them in cleaning and for cuts and scrapes.  In fact, I keep finding more and more uses for arnica oil.  But this is the first time I have ever used essential oils for congestion relief.

The first thing I would like to tell you about is the ingredient list:


Ingredients: Combined essential oils of Lemon, Cajeput, Lavender, Clove, Myrrh and Chamomile in a base of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 

Products Contains No: Alcohol, Sugar, Salt, Starch, Yeast, Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Milk, Egg or Preservatives. Gluten Free and Vegan Formula.

I always think it is important from the beginning to check out the ingredients in case you or your family are sensitive to any of the ingredients.  The nice thing is that there isn't a lot in this product that can cause allergies.

As to the uses, there are more uses than  I even realized.  It is a remedy for sore throats, sinus congestion, cough, ear aches, and more.  It will even help to soothe a sore neck.  You can either rub a few drops on the affected area (chest, neck, outside of nose/sinuses).  You can also add a few drops inside your mouth to help control cough or even a drop in each nostril to help with sinus congestion.

In case you are wondering, I tried several of these.  I have daily nasal congestion.  I actually use a sinus rinse most days of the week, and it really works well.  But I still get congestion.  When I read about putting a drop in each nostril, I tried it along with rubbing a few drops on the nasal/sinus areas.  And it worked very well.  My sinuses seems quite clear.  I also rubbed it on my neck, and it took away some of the stiff feeling.

Here's my favorite part of this rub.  It smells really good!  I love the essential oils in it, and it doesn't leave a lasting, horrible smell.  It is also not greasy.  These were all complaints I had about any kind of menthol rubs. I plan to keep this around for the times when I am overly congested,m and I will definitely use it the next time I have a sore throat or a cough.  There is nothing like natural products that work well,  And this one does!

I can imagine that you are wondering what I thought about all these items.  Well, let me tell you.  When I was a child, I lived on OTC nasal sprays until the doctor told me I was overusing them.  Then I used the prescription nasal sprays, but they are expensive and often quite a pain.  So I switched to saline nose sprays.  The Xlear nasal spray tops any of these!  My sinuses were instantly moisturized.  In fact, I often used this nasal spray right after using the other products.

As to the Neti, I am still not a fan of this method.  I love the contents of the packet that I put in the water, but I often find that this method irritates my sinuses minimally.  It works, but I just don't always liked the process.  It would have been nice to have a lid on the pot as well.  Transporting the water from the kitchen to the bathroom was not always so easy.

My favorite item is the Sinus Care Rinse.  This is my preferred way to clear my sinuses, and this one is the best I have ever tried.  There is no doubt that the packet that goes in the water works really well to clear me out.  The only thing I don't like is that sometimes when I lean forward, water will come out of my nose.  And it often happens on the most inopportune times.  But I will say that this is a small price to pay for having clear sinuses.  

As a side note, I am the only one in my family this season who did not completely come down with a cold.  What I mean by that is that I fought off a cold through the use of this product and some immune support products.  Everyone else in this house got at least one cold.  My dad, who never gets sick, got a cold.  And my mom got three colds this season.  I do believe these products helped keep my sinuses clear.

Advil Congestion Relief Review

It is officially cold season.  Not only that, but my year-round allergies have been really bad lately. We had almost a week of heavy fog that lasted most of the day.  When my allergies are bad, I often get a lot of sinus congestion, and I will often get headaches as well.  I have a normal OTC allergy medicine that I take faithfully most days, but I have been known to run out.  Because of what "substance" is included in my allergy medicine, I can only get so much of the medicine at a time.  I have to get the medicine every two weeks, and it is not always convenient.

In the past, when I run out of my allergy medicine, or it I happen to forget to take it and it gets too late, I try to find something that will work in its stead.  Up until recently, there has been nothing that will work to at least get me by.  I am so glad that I got the chance to try Advil Congestion Relief..  This has a decongestant in it and, of course, Advil pain medicine.  And guess what--it works!  It it not as strong as my allergy medicine, but in a pinch, it will work.  I was able to use it for a day, and it did basically keep my allergies under control.  Sometimes I get back late at night, and it is not feasible to use my normal allergy medicine.  This is also an ideal time to use this medicine.
