Piczzle Photo Puzzle Review

With Christmas coming, it is always a good time to look for special gifts and cards to send to friends and families all over.  I don't know about you, but some of my friends and family don't live near me, and there is nothing better than sending them a gift or a card that features a current photo.  Even family and friends that live in the same area enjoy a personalized photo gift.

When I think of personalized gifts, it's always about mugs and t-shirts and the like.  But what about something truly unique?  How about a customized jigsaw puzzle?  Sound interesting?  Then let me introduce you to Piczzle, the home of picture puzzles.  This site allows you to upload a picture and turn it into a puzzle. And then they put it in a nice box with the completed picture on the front.

This is not the first time I have worked with Piczzle (check out my last review). I enjoyed the ease and fun of making my design last time just as much as I did this time.  They have so many options!  You can pick a cardboard or wooden puzzle, and you have a variety of designs from which to choose.  You can add customized greetings and so much more.

Where else can you go online to create something like this?  Most card are thrown away, but I venture to say this one won't be.  In fact, if I were to receive something like this, I think I would frame it or at least put it in a photo book.  

I created a picture puzzle for my daughter's Bible study teacher at church.  He has been a very special man in her life, and so I know this will be a keepsake he will treasure.  The quality is fantastic, and inside this little box, all the puzzle pieces are there in a plastic bag.

Send a Flying Card Review

All right, is there anyone out there who still sends regular cards through the mail?  Just wondering.  I have to admit that most of the time, I do not.  And when I do, I often figure it will be a waste of time.  After all, they will read it and just throw it away.  You might get an acknowledgement, or you might not.  It seems like a waste of time.

What if I told you that you could send a card that would be completely memorable?  They would not throw it away, and they could even "play" with the card.  I am talking about none other than Send a Flying Card.  Imagine sending a card that "flies" to the recipient with a very special customized message.



If you look at the picture of the card at the top of the post, you will notice that they customized it with my logo.  How nice to have a flying disc with my logo!  I like the fact that they put it on a gold disc.  I haven't let my daughter or dog play with this yet--too neat!  This one of those things that I would like to keep for a while.

You might wonder how a company like this got started.  It is a family-owned business whose headquarters are in New York.  As I read the story of the beginning of their company, I found myself smiling.  Imagine buying a plastic flying disc and asking in the post office if it could be sent like that (without a box or packaging).  And the response was a somewhat reluctant affirmative.

Mixbook Custom Thank You Cards Review

I was so excited to get the chance to review cards from mixbook again!  I know that whenever I order anything from this company, it will always be quality!  Here is information about the company from their site:

The thank you card that I chose is pictured on the right.  I had so much fun--I was able to upload four pictures of featuring my daughter and me, and I even got to change one of the icons on the card.  It was as easy as could be.  I think it took me about 20 minutes to create the cards and officially order them.  And when they came, both my mom and my daughter were impressed with the high quality of the product.  Needless to say, I was impressed as well.  

When you are looking for photo cards and/or thank you cards, I can't recommend mixbook enough.  What I neglected to say was how quickly the cards arrived.  It was less than a week from the time that I ordered that they arrived.  I love the fact that envelopes are included with each order.  It may seem like it would make sense that envelopes would be included when you order cards, but I have seen companies that charge extra for that service!  Not so with mixbook.

Solution Sunday--Mixbook 5x7 Custom Card Review

I am so excited to tell you about this wonderful product that I had the opportunity to review!  Mixbook is a wonderful site where you can create your own custom cards, invitations, and more.  The site is incredibly easy to navigate, and you will definitely be happy with the quality of each product they provide.

As I began to create my custom photo card, I was faced with so many decisions.  There were so many ideas, and I really had to spend some time narrowing down my choices.  I finally decided to create a custom Christmas Card.  The really great thing was that I was able to design exactly what the card said so that I could use these cards during winter, not just Christmas.  I sometimes forget to send out Christmas cards, but I know that I can make it a point to send out cards in January, and these cards will be ideal.  Here's a scan  of what my card looks like:

 While this image is not the clearest, you can see what a fine job they do on creating the perfect card!  My daughter loved it , and so did my mom.  On the back of the card, there is plenty of room to write a short message, and each card comes with a white envelope at no extra charge.

So the next time you have some kind of event coming up and you need a special, customized card, don't forget to check out Mixbook!  With them creating the perfect custom card, you just can't go wrong!
