Piczzle Photo Puzzle Review

With Christmas coming, it is always a good time to look for special gifts and cards to send to friends and families all over.  I don't know about you, but some of my friends and family don't live near me, and there is nothing better than sending them a gift or a card that features a current photo.  Even family and friends that live in the same area enjoy a personalized photo gift.

When I think of personalized gifts, it's always about mugs and t-shirts and the like.  But what about something truly unique?  How about a customized jigsaw puzzle?  Sound interesting?  Then let me introduce you to Piczzle, the home of picture puzzles.  This site allows you to upload a picture and turn it into a puzzle. This is not the first time I have worked with Piczzle (check out my last review). I am so excited to tell you about a wonderful company called Rendi Style.  I am always looking for unique, personalized gift ideas for my family and friends, and this company has that and more!  The easiest thing in the world is to go to the store and get the mass-produced gift for your loved ones, but that always seems so cold.  I have always been one of those people who like personalized gifts.  I used to make Christmas gifts, but my schedule does not permit that any more.  So the next best thing is to pay someone to create a gift.  And what can be better than combining pictures with a truly unique keepsake.

The item pictured above is for my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas.  I love the fact that pictures can be easily exchanged, and I enjoyed personalizing the message "We Love, We Share."  One thing my brother and sister-in-law enjoy doing is going on motorcycle trips together.  I really enjoyed designing this for them, and I think they will enjoy it.  I know I would!

This was a plaque that I designed for my mom.  I was pleased to find the wonderful quotes from which I could choose (I just didn't feel creative when I was designing these).  I thought the quote was perfect for my mom, and I am glad that it came with hardware so she can hang it on the wall easily.  I know my mom will find a special place to hang this up.

I forgot to mention the wonderful smell these creations have!  They are strong, sturdy, and the wood smells wonderfully natural.  I can hardly wait to give these gifts at Christmas--the waiting is sometimes interminable. But at least they are wrapped well, and no one knows where to find them but me.

I See Me Personalized Book Review

Ahoy, Matey!  (I always wanted to say that! Okay, not really, but it got your attention, right?  And I did derive some pleasure out of writing that line!)  I want to introduce you to a line of products that is better than buried treasure.  Well, blow me down and shiver me timbers!  Okay, enough of the insanity!  On with the review.

I have seen I See Me books around the blogosphere off and on for a while now.  I kind of wondered about them before, but when I had the chance to review one for my very own, I jumped at the chance!  After all, my daughter (the lovely, 9-year-old tomboy) loves pirates, so it was even better that the personalized book was a pirate theme.



The entire process of personalizing the book was loads of fun.

It was not my daughter's birthday, but I chose to give her a keepsake book that would be something I would cherish even when she no longer wanted it.  In fact, I told her that when she did not want it any longer, I would take it--gladly!

The illustrations and personalization was absolutely beautiful! They did an acrostic based on my daughter's first and last name, and my mom and I were amazed at how well they seemed to know my daughter!

Almost without exception, every word described her to a tee!  I realize that there was no way they could have known my daughter's personality, but somehow they worked it in even so.  As my daughter read the book, her face was bright and smiling--always nice to see.

I think that the possibilities for this book are endless.  What a perfect gift for birthday, Christmas, graduation, baptism/christening, and the list goes on and on.  I honestly don't know why I didn't check these books out before.  I guess I thought they were just for babies, but no.  I think I want one now!

Party Beans Products Review

I have a fantastic product to tell you about today.  I got the opportunity to review some products from Party Beans.  They are a company that provides absolutely unbelievable personalized gifts and party favors.  You can find products very easily for any occasion including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, holidays, and so much more.  If you have a business, you can find promotional items, corporate gifts, and even items to advertise your company and/or products.  And when it comes down to it, who doesn't like something personalized?

Creating my product was really a fun process.  Our next big family function is Thanksgiving.  While they did not have something specific to that holiday, I was pleased to find so many backgrounds.  I knew I could have uploaded my own--I probably will another time--but I found a perfect background.  I knew that I wanted to put something on it about Thanksgiving, and I did.

I realize that it is impossible to read what is written.  It says "Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  Happy Thanksgiving."  I was able to pick out a font that looks "old world," and I got enough favors to give to each family and child at Thanksgiving.

I did have the choice of candy, but I knew that we all liked jelly bellies.  And so that is what I chose.  I think it makes for a nice little treat for everyone, and it will be a great little memento. I plan to put one at each table setting.
