Halloween is honestly just around the corner, and of course, all the parents are scrambling to be able to find the perfect costume for their kids at a reasonable price.  I want to inform you of an unbelievable site where you are to find everything you need for a memorable Halloween!

Since my daughter already has a costume, I thought it would be nice to get a costume for a friend.  I actually did not pick it out.  My daughter and her best friend went on the site with my help, and they found the perfect costume for my daughter's best friend's nephew.  He is three (if I remember right), and he is all boy--very active!  They chose the piectured costume for him--a buccaneer costume   We all knew it was the perfect costume for him, and the size was ideal.  His mom said 3T-4T, and that is exactly what the costume is!

I have not had the opportunity to see him in the costume, but I can attest to the fact that what you see pictured above is exactly what comes (without the cutlass, thankfully).  They have thought of everything.  Not only does it have the pants and jacket, but it has the boot covers!  How darling is that.  It is truly reminiscent of real pirate history. I wish I had a picture of him in the outfit, but maybe I can update this review after Halloween with his picture. I'll have to see if I can talk his mother into it.  She's one of those mothers who would like to start a blog but hasn't actually had the opportunity to do so yet.  Maybe I can finally convince her!

Wholesale Costume Club Review--My Daughter is Hermione!

I have asked my daughter over the past few months what she would like to be for Halloween.  With her, you never know.  She has been everything from a pink poodle to Superwoman.  But we do like being prepared for Halloween--I do not like to wait until the last minute.


My daughter decided that she wanted to be Hermione from Harry Potter.  There is a story here.  I only recently allowed her to read the book (which she has not finished yet).  She can't watch the movie until she finishes the book.  But, of course, she fell in love with Hermione, and that was what she wanted to be.  So I agreed, and we began looking.


I am so glad that we got the chance to review a costume from  Wholesale Costume Club.com.  When I began to look at the site, I was amazed with the assortment of costumes they had!  They had everything imaginable for children as well as adults, and the prices were pretty fantastic too.  Maybe my daughter would be able to buy a ready-made costume this year--which I know is always fun.  Yes, it can be fun to make your own, but I think it can also be fun to buy the costume and add special touches to it yourself.


As my daughter looked at the costume choices, only one thing was on her mind--Hermione.  I will tell you that we did a search for that character specifically, and for some reason nothing came up.  But we didn't give up.  I did a search for Harry Potter costumes, and suddenly, there was the costume!

I ordered this immediately, and the costume arrived very quickly.  My daughter wanted to try it on the moment it arrived, and she was even ready to put it on before school.  I told her we would have to wait until the weekend.  The costume arrived wrapped in plastic, and although simple, this costume is very effective.

I love the attention to detail, and I am grateful that this size will still fit her in October.  I don't think my daughter wanted to take it off!  It is hanging in her closet, and come Halloween, she will be Hermione, courtesy of Wholesale Costume Club!
