Pak Nak Review

So am I the only one who had never heard of Pak Nak?  I never had, and I was greatly intrigued when we got to review them.  If you are like me, you are wondering what on earth a Pak Nak is.  Let me tell you.

They are fun, softy, rubbery, 3-D sticky-backed decorations that can be used to adorn just about anything you so choose.  If you want to decorate it, Pak Nak can certainly come to your aid. It is not a sticker, a patch, or a pin.  The best thing about these decorations is that when you want to take them off and put them on something else, the adhesive will still work for you!  My daughter can attest to that.

My 9-year-old daughter needed no help putting these on.  I didn't even tell her what to do.  She figured it out completely  on her own, and she was pleased to discover that she could take them off and then put them on another spot.  I have no idea how they will hold up over time--they are still pretty new.  But here's hoping they will hold up as well as the website says they will!

There are over 40 designs from which to choose.  I love the fact that they have holiday-themed Pak Naks.  I may have to check those out.  My daughter loves to decorate for the holidays, and this may the very thing for her.  It looks like the best thing to do is buy these online as there are not a lot of retailers who are selling these.  I look forward to the day when our local Walmart carries them!  I would think they would be very hot items.

Nail Art Stickers Review

Onlinenailbar.com stocks a fantastic range of nail art stickers. Each sheet contains between 30 and 60+ stickers so this means that you can complete mutliple manicures or share with friends. This product is extremely affordable at only £1.25 each.

Nail art stickers are easy to use and create a professional looking manicure which ends up costing pennies.

This was a new experience for me.  I had never used nail art stickers, or nail art of any kind before.  So I decided to let my little fashion queen review them!

She loves doing things like this, and she is almost 9.  So if she can do it so can you!  One of our only complaints about this product is that the stickers were so small that they were somewhat difficult to use.  It does require some patience, but my daughter made some neat designs on her nails.  And her best friend thought they looked pretty neat, too.  They are temporary, so they will not last much past the night, but if you are looking for something a little different, I encourage you to check these out!  For a small price, you can look quite chic!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Thoughtful Thursday--Home Make+Print from Sticker You Review

My daughter and I had the unique opportunity of reviewing Make+Print stickers you can print at home by Sticker You.  I have to admit that while I have seen printable stickers for years, I have never had the opportunity to use them.  I always thought they would be really difficult to make or that they may not look very good.  But I was willing to give them a try.

I found that the directions were much easier than I thought.  All I needed was a color printer and a computer.  Everything else was provided.  I went to their site and entered a code.  This gave me access to thousands of sticker designs (all sorts--for everyone from kids to adults).  You could use any of those or upload your own.  The code was good for twice as many stickers as you had in your pack.  That allows for mistakes!

I created some stickers that I knew my daughter would like--animals, cartoons, pictures from vacations, etc. Her favorite was of a black cat, and I wrote "Dusty Crossing" on it in honor of her cat.  You are able to completely customize these stickers and make them exactly the way you want.

When I put the sticker sheets into the printer, I did have to take them out halfway because I had put the paper in the wrong way.  It was easy enough to reinsert the sheets and print them correctly.  Once they had printed, I noticed that the printing was slightly off.  But it was just barely off center.  It would just be a simple adjustment to make sure the sheets are lined up correctly next time.  But the stickers themselves were absolutely beautiful!  Make sure you let the ink dry before you use them, however.  Otherwise you will get ink on your fingers.

Next time you want to do something neat for your kids, holidays, or for a party, be sure to check them out!
