This Day in History November 10, 1979

Ever heard this song?  Well, it just so happens that on this day in 1979 that Heartache Tonight by the Eagles went to #1.  While it was only #1 for that one week, the single itself sold one million copies.

You may have heard several other versions of it--Conway Twitty, Michael Buble, and probably others. I would love to show a video of this, but it seems that copyright issues will only allow me to show a recording of it.

I think it is pretty cool that the Eagles are still around and well-liked.
