Hair Shadz & Sun Shadz by Monimay, Inc. Review

First of all, let me say that I was very skeptical of this product.  I didn't think it would be something I would enjoy, like, or want to use. After all, who ever heard of using a powder on your hair? I was glad that my mom got to be the guinea pig, and if you keep reading, I think you may find how pleasantly surprised I was.



Hair Shadz®  is a revolutionary, multitasking product.  This is not a typical hair dye (as I thought it was).  Its capabilities far exceed this function.  Hair Shadz® is perfect for root blending, dry shampoo, and sun protection.  Have you ever had your scalp burn right where your hair parts?  I know I have, and it is very painful.  I don't always wear a hat, so I was pretty happy to discover that this product protects your scalp against skin cancer along with the other two functions.

The color that came was dark brown, and my mom is the one with brown hair in this family.  She no longer dyes her hair, but she agreed to let me try it.  I was glad that the website had a video to help me figure out how to use the item because I was unable to figure it out.  Once you understand the process, it only takes a matter of minutes.

This is my mom's hair before the Hair Shadz.  You can see the part in her hair and her unprotected scalp.

Until I saw the comparison, I was not terribly convinced!  Can you believe this is the same spot?  Amazing!  Her scalp is now protected.  And the color is absolutely perfect.

I told my mom that I would like to try this in my hair color.  During the summer, I tend to be out and about.  I remember to put sunscreen on my body and face, but sunscreen is not fun to put on my scalp.  This would be the ideal thing to use--it is SPF 15.  I know that for prolonged exposure, I would still need a hat, but this would be perfect for just being out and about.  I think it would be perfect as a dry shampoo as well.  I do tend to put a lot of "goop" on my hair, but I don't wash my hair every day.  While I don't need a "root touch up," the other functions more than make this worthwhile.

NAAT Brazilian Keratin Hair Care Products Review

I am quite pleased to tell you about a wonderful company that makes high-quality hair products.  Introducing

First of all, I decided that in order to try these magnificent products, I wanted my hair to be as "yucky" as possible.  I used two days worth of heavy hair gel and hair spray.  I figured that the more "goop" in the hair, the better I could see how well it works.

I have a before and after picture of my hair, so here goes.

That is my "nasty" head of hair.  While it may not look too bad, trust me!  It was very noisy and dirty.  Every time I moved it, it made noise, and it didn't like to move very well.  It felt horrible.

I think you can see the difference.  This is after using the shampoo, conditioner, and serum.  I was impressed with all the products.  They cleaned well, and I can't remember the last time my hair had felt so clean and soft!  And it was indeed lasting.  I also enjoyed using the hair dryer with the serum as it said.  It's always nice to use products that actually use the hair dryer to their benefit.  My hair was so easy to style after using these.

I also wanted to make sure I had a chance to use the reconstructor.

I love the way my hair turned out!  I had been using the shampoo and conditioner for a little while, and then I tried the recontructor.  Again, I used the hair dryer with this product, and wow!

I finally did get a chance to try the Hair Mask.  I used it just before I took a shower, and i did not cover my hair like it said.  I just made sure that I didn't rub up against anything.  I rinsed it out, and although it certainly made my hair feel nice and soft, I didn't notice any major differences.  What I mean is that I have been using the other products, and my hair is now in really good shape.  It comes to mind that this should probably be the first thing you use when you start using this line of products.  If you have styled your hair a lot, and it is severely damaged, this is the perfect thing to restore your hair.  I am going to save it for when my hair is in really bad shape.

What I like to do is compare with my normal products when I am using something new.  So that is what I did.  I tried a couple different things I had been using previously, but my results were not (and are not) as good as this.  In fact, my poor hair was not nearly as soft and clean-feeling as when I used the nuNAAT products.  I thought I found good stuff before, but this seems to be even better!

I searched out their site to see where I can buy their products, and I was quite pleased to see a variety of choices.  For me, the online retailers are the best bet for me, and the prices are pretty good.  If interested, be sure to check out this part of the site.

I have had been sitting on a leather chair for the past three years--it is my chair.  I never thought about cleaning it, conditioning it, or protecting it.  It seemed to wear very well, and everything seemed fine.  Then I had the opportunity to try Tantex Leather Conditioner.  I was sent a bottle for review, and I followed the simple instructions on my leather chair.  I was amazed to see the leather perk up and look better and cleaner than it ever had before. The directions said to clean the leather if it was dirty, but I did not think it was dirty.  Notwithstanding, the leather conditioner still removed the dust and dirt that I could not see.  

As I am now sitting on the chair that has been conditioned, I can say that it seems a little bit sticky (it is a hot day outside, so that may be why), but I can tell how nice the leather looks.  I am glad that the chair is protected since I find myself practically living in this chair when I am at  home and blogging.  I can hardly wait to see how it will work on other leather things such as our car seats.  I am glad that I had the opportunity to try this product, and I certainly plan to continue to do so.
