I have a couple more products to review before the official start of a big giveaway featuring several recently reviewed products.

Although we do not have babies in the household, we are never opposed to trying something new from Purex, even if it is made with babies in mind.  We love fabric softener in this household, but it can be a real pain.  I hate having to remember to put it in at the right time.  With Purex Crystals, you don't have to remember when to put the softener in the washing machine.  And Purex Crystals for Baby is even better for households with babies and allergies.  With Puex Crystals for Baby, you can rest assured since it is hypoallergenic, dye-free, and 87% natural.

You might be wondering about the results.  Fabulous!  The scent in this version is not as strong as the regular, but it still gets your towels soft (that is where we like to use fabric softener), and it keeps those towels smelling fresh.  And as I said before, nothing could be easier.  Dump the crystals in  at the beginning of the wash, and you are good to go!  My mom thinks this is one of the greatest products out there, and I certainly agree!

I also have had the opportunity to review Purex Natural Elements Tropical Splash Detergent.  We are huge fans of Purex detergent in this household.  Nothing works better than getting our stains out and keeping our clothes smelling fresh.  And this detergent is no different.  I love the fact that this is hypoallergenic and dye-free.  And it still works well!  We have a tomboy 9-year-old girl and a senior man who both get their clothes really dirty without always pre-treating their stains.  But we can rest assured with Purex that their clothes will still get clean.

And last but certainly not least, I got to review Purex detergent plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance.  This is possibly my favorite because not only does it get the clothes clean, but it also automatically adds Purex crystals for optimum softening of clothing.  We love to simplify the process whenever we can, and we hate to add fabric softener to the laundry.  I always forget, and I just find it a hassle.  While I love Purex crystals, I just love the fact that this is added to their fantastic detergent!  If I had to pick one of these, I would pick this one.

I had the opportunity to try New Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends cereal, and it was fantastic!  I have always likes Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, but this was special.  The flavor was Mango Coconut, and it was strong enough without being too strong.  But I do like mango and coconut, so I suppose that did help. I normally have my cereal with Greek yogurt instead of milk, and I was quite pleased at the result.  I think I ate the whole box myself!  This flavor is one of twelve flavors they have, and you can feel good about giving your family something nutritious and filling.

I also got to try Soft Scrub Total All-Purpose Cleaner.  For me, Soft Scrub brings back memories of when I was growing up and all they had was abrasive cleaners or cleaners that didn't work well.  That is, until Soft Scrub came along.  It was the wonder cleanser that was perfect for cleaning your counters and sink without scratching them.  This product is no exception.  On really tough stains (that we tend to get from our hard water in the country), it doesn't always work as well as you might like.  But for normal, everyday cleansing, this is perfect!  We used it in our kitchen, and it as good as it ever was if not better.

And finally tonight, I would like to tell you about my experiences with Dry Idea Advanced Dry Fresh Deodorant and Anti-Perspirant.  Let me tell you that I do not normally like roll-on style deodorants.  I prefer clear solids or invisible.  But this product from Dry Idea is pretty tough to beat.  It goes on clear, and it lasts better than some of my other products that I have enjoyed for years.  I never found myself smelly with this roll-on even after a hard work-out in the gym.  It also never "bled" onto my clothing.  Once it went on my underarms, that is where it stayed.  This is probably my favorite deodorant/anti-perspirant that I have had the privilege to try.

Purex Baby Detergent and 20 Mule Team Borax Review

In our household, laundry is a task shared by both my mom and me, and we got to try something that has helped us unbelievably! Two products, as a matter of fact.

First of all, there are no babies in this household, but Purex Baby Detergent is not just for babies.  It smells really good, and it is gentle on the skin.  We don't have any allergens in the household, but it's nice to use a detergent that cleans well without the additional stuff that might irritate your skin.  If you have a baby, this is essential for your household.

In addition to this product, I had the chance to try 20 Mule Team Borax.  Let me begin by telling you that our water is really hard, and sometimes our clothes don't get as clean as we would like.  I added this product to the water along with the Purex Baby Detergent.  And I was absolutely amazed!  For the first time in a very long time, our white socks looked so much cleaner.  I was completely impressed, and I can hardly wait to try this in our dishwasher.  Oh, and my mom agrees that the combination of these two products gives an amazing result!

Purex with Oxi Review

I absolutely love Purex detergent.  It is by far the best detergent on the market, and I know that it gets my clothes clean.  In fact, I can trust Purex to get stains out of my clothing that I don't even know is there.  I am also a fan of Oxi.  It's tough on stains, too.  I have a 9-year-old tomboy and I have a 69-year-old mom who often wears her food.  You can imagine the kind of stains we have to deal with.

Imagine combing these two products into one fantastic detergent!  That is exactly what has been done here in new Purex plus Oxi laundry detergent.  This detergent is so powerful that it works against 101 different stains--we probably have each of those in our household!

Dry Idea Review and Purex Let's Be Honest Campaign Giveaway--6 winners! (Ends 7/20) U.S.

Well, I am killing two birds with one stone.  Not literally!  But there are two campaigns with which I have been involved over the past few weeks, and it is time to tell you about them, review one of them, and give away some fantastic coupons!

First of all, I was fortunate enough to review Dry Idea Advanced Dry Antiperspirant and Deodorant.  Now, I will be the first to tell you that I am rather picky about my deodorants.  I am not a fan of roll-on deodorants, but that is what I was sent.  I never like the wet feel of them, and generally, they don't work well.  But I was willing to try this.

I was surprised that this deodorant did not feel "yucky" as I rolled it on, and it did not leave residue on my clothes--except once, and I think that was just a fluke.  This ended up being a deodorant that was easy to use, smelled good, and worked well.  I never felt smelly even after working out.  We have not had a really hot summer here in the Pacific Northwest, but when I work out, I end up covered in sweat.  I never felt I had to replace my deodorant even after working out hard.

First up is the Lovable Labels Friendship Pack.    I must admit I don't get tired of reviewing and promoting Lovable Labels products.  This is the third time I have had this opportunity, and they are absolutely fantastic! For those of you who may not know, Lovable Labels are products that just make parents' lives easier.  They are completely customizable, and they can withstand almost anything, including the dishwasher.  Place them on the items that your children own, and they will be easy to identify.

Secondly, I got to try Tropical Traditions Organic Hair Oil.  I tried the lavender scent, and I was quite impressed.  I have tried a number of things from Tropical Traditions, and I never tire of reviewing and promoting their products.  But this was something a little different.  I had never used coconut oil on my hair--until I tried this product.  

I read the instructions on the back very carefully, and I tried two out of the three ways that it recommended using it.  I don't have dry scalp, so I skipped that one.  I immediately began using this on my hair to style and make it shine.  I was impressed with the results.   It was much better than putting mousse or other styling products on it.  The only thing I did not like is that after a couple days of using it, I have to use powder on my hair to counteract the effects of the oil.  But that is a minor issue.  

The second way I used this was as a conditioner.  It had a couple different ways to use it.  I put it on my hair after I washed it, and indeed, it made my hair soft, silky, and nicely scented.  I also put it on my hair before washing it.  You can put it on and leave it on from 15 minutes up to overnight.  I left it on for 15 minutes, and I certainly liked the way it conditioned my hair--both times.  And come to think of it, I have not had any itchy 

scalp.  While I do not suffer from dry scalp, I guess this also kept my scalp from having any dryness issues.

And finally, I received a bottle of Purex Crystals Tropical Splash and a Jocket Tech Terry sports bra to review.  These products are absolutely awesome!  I am always impressed with Purex products, and the Purex Crystals are no exception.  The tropical splash has a fantastic scent that lasts, and its softening quality rivals that of any dryer sheet or fabric softener.  And the best part is that you get to put the crystals in at the beginning of the wash cycle.  I don't know about you, but I tend to forget to add fabric softener at the right time, so I don't usually use it.  It is a pain.  But not so with Purex Crystals!

And as for the Jockey Sports bra (mine was black instead of the white one pictured), I could not be happier!  I was actually looking for a new sports bra, and this is the most comfortable sports bra I have ever worn, and it definitely provides the best amount of support of any sports bra I have worn.  I just find that it is hard to get off after my workout when I am sweaty.  But that is a minor issue compared with what you get!

Tave to admit that I was pretty skeptical at first.  And the first time I tried it, I didn't use enough.  When I did use it, I was glad to realize that it had a lasting smell that was still quite evident even in the dryer.  My only complaint was that it did not prevent static cling in the dryer.  I still prefer dryer sheets when clothes have to be put in the dryer, but I would say this product would be fantastic for clothes that are washed and not put through the dryer.
