BabyGanics Fine & Handy Hand & Face Wipes Review

I am so pleased to tell you about a fantastic product that I have gotten to review in exchange for my honest opinion!  I had never heard of the company BabyGanics, but when they agreed to let me review their Fine & Dandy Hand & Face Wipes, I was pretty excited, and I will share my thoughts with you.

First of all, here is some important information about the product:

Their biodegradable, SLS, bleach and paraben-free formula lets you clean all of your baby’s sticky messes with no worries.  Plus, special skin conditioners and emollients gently nourish as you clean.  With better skin hydration than the leading brands, you won’t want to leave home without them!

  • NO Chlorine, Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates or Toxins
  • Specially formulated with natural, plant-based ingredients
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Pediatrician and Dermatologist Tested
  • CLeans sticky hands and faces
  • Leaves baby’s skin clean, soft and fresh
Now let me be clear--we have no babies around the house.  The youngest member of our household is almost ten.  We live out in the country, and dirt is a way of life out here.  I'm not complaining--just being realistic.

These wipes arrived at the ideal time.  About a week ago, our water stopped.  We have a well system, and for some reason, the pump stopped pumping water.  We had to go two days with no running water--not a fun experience, I can tell you.  I won't go into details, but using the toilets was not a pleasant experience.  At least we had power, so I didn't spend a lot of time complaining.

After using the bathroom, we had to either use soap with bottled water (don't try that unless your desperate--the soap foamed up big time, and I had to use nearly a half bottle) or hand sanitizer (my mom did that, and her hands were really dried out).  I remebered these fantastic little hand wipes, and I have to tell you, they did the job!  No one else seemed to want to use them, but I have to say these were perfect.  They smelled good, and they cleaned my face very well.  My hands never dried out, and they felt clean.

Don't let the name "baby" keep you from trying these wipes.  They are perfect for any age, and I think you will find many uses for them.  Each package contains 30 wipes--they are small, but they do the job.  BabyGanics’ Fine & Handy Hand and Face Wipes retail for $4.99 and can be purchased at Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby, Amazon.com, Diapers.com and Vine.com.

Be sure to follow the company via social media to keep up with the latest news, deals, and even contests!

I was sent a product in exchange for my honest review.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

OraMD Review

In recent times, I have found that I am getting into natural products more and more.  And so when I was offered a chance to review OraMD, I jumped at it!  All the company asked was that I give my honest opinion of the product.  Be sure to read the bottom of this post for something extra special the company is offering.

I have found that all-natural products work really on my teeth and gums.  There is something about using essential oils and other natural products.  Here are some facts about OraMD:

  • Naturally fight gum problem-causing bacteria in 4 simple steps: Brush, Floss, Rinse, Refresh.
  • Use as a 3-in-1 toothpaste, mouthwash and breath freshener
  • Recommended by Dentists Worldwide
  • Cheaper than Crest Pro-Health products – save up to 39%
  • 100% Pure Ingredients killed Periodontal Bacteria in New Clinical Study
  • One Full Year, 100% Money Back Guarantee – No Questions Asked
But, of course, you are here to read my thoughts on it, right?  So here goes.  I wasn't sure what I would think about replacing my favorite natural mouthwash with this product that only uses 2-5 drops in an ounce of water.  But when I read that it had essential oils, I was willing to try it.  When I first used it as a mouthwash, it was pretty strong.  However, as I have used it more and more, I don't plan to ever go back to my former mouthwash.  This freshens my breath and makes my gums feel really good.  I think it will keep mouth sores and gingivitis away.

Let me honest--I didn't notice until last night that this can also be used a toothpaste.  I plan to give that a try--I might completely switch over to this for all my oral hygiene needs!  I really like the taste, and it feels so good to use something that is all natural!

Be sure to check out the upcoming giveaway for this product.  Three people will win.  And while you are at it, like them on facebook for the latest deals and news.

The manufacturer is willing to offer my readers one FREE bottle. They said they would love to have our readers try out OraMD and agreed to send one bottle FREE if our readers would pay a minimal shipping and handling charge.  They also agreed to include 2 eye-opening reports called 1) “The 6 Hidden Dangers In Toothpaste” and 2) “Why The FDA Requires A Warning Label On Your Toothpaste.”  That’s a total value of over $40.00.  Click here to get your FREE bottle and FREE reports now.

Truly's All Natural Deodorant Review

Let me completely honest with you.  I like all-natural products, but when it comes to deodorant, I cannot say that I was totally sold on the idea of using an all natural product.  After all, I don't want to use a deodorant that will fail because it doesn't include aluminum to clog the pores and keep perspiration from coming.  I am not one who sweats a lot, and I have never really had a problem with being smelly, but I don't want to take the chance.  I have believed that I had to have a deodorant with an antiperspirant or I would not be fully protected.  My daughter uses an all-natural deodorant, but she is not even ten yet.  It works fine for her, but me?  I was pretty doubtful.

When I saw the chance to review Truly's All Natural Deodorant, I was pretty hesitant.  Why would I want to use something like this?  It couldn't work the same.  But I went ahead and applied, and to my surprise, I was selected to review it.  The company agreed to send me a free product in exchange for my honest opinion.  So I figured I would give it a try.  What did I have to lose?

Truly's All Natural Deodorant is a product that contains organic coconut oil, powdered sugar (sugar and cornstarch), beeswax, and baking soda.  You can see from the picture above that it comes in a round container.  They have chosen not to put it in a stick form because in higher temperatures, the coconut oil could melt and become pretty messy in a stick form.  I still have to admit that I wish they would put it in a stick form because it wouldn't melt in our cold climate.  But I found that using my fingers to apply the deodorant under my arms worked pretty well after I got used to it.

I have to say that I was amazed at how well this worked.  The real test for me was using this product all day long and going to work out--that is when I sweat a lot.  I fully expected to feel wet under my arms and smell bad.  Neither happened!  I'm sure there was still sweat under there, but I felt dry, and there was no smell!  This stuff worked amazingly well.  It is the perfect natural deodorant for kids, women, and even men, in my opinion.

And if you have sensitive skin, let me fill you on a story that really blew me away.  I do shave under my arms several times a week.  I never use deodorant after shaving.  But I figured I would give this a try.  Right after shaving, I gave this deodorant a try.  And you know what?  I had no pain or burning whatsoever!  This was the experience that truly sold me on this deodorant.

You might wonder how four such simple ingredients could work so well.  Let me explain just a little.  The sugar combines with your perspiration and creates a solution that keeps your body from growing odor-causing bacteria.  You probably already know that baking soda fights odor.  Coconut oil not only gives a pleasing smell to this deodorant, but it inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi.  It is also has moisturizing properties.

So in my humble opinion, I was pretty happy with this deodorant.  It made me think that I should switch to this kind of deodorant, and maybe I don't need that potentially harmful aluminum after all.  I still wish they would put it in stick form, but I certainly makes me rethink my deodorant use.  And by the way--I have only had to reapply once, and I probably could have gotten away without reapplying it--I was just being extra cautious.

So be sure to check out Truly's All Natural Deodorant, and don't forget to like them on facebook. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Bulu Box A Vitamin and Supplement Sample Box Review

I think subscription boxes are indeed the wave of the future.  I am one who is hesitant about putting a lot of money into something that I may not like.  I love natural items and high quality vitamin/supplement products.  I am always looking for ways to be healthier.  So Bulu Box certainly caught my eye!

And here is what came in my box.  Dream Water, Immuno Gum, Perfect Blocks, Red Stinger Black Label, and Washington Homeopathic Headache.  I'm going to be very honest.  Since these are samples, I cannot guarantee that any of the products work as prescribed, but I have to admit that a couple of these really stood out to me.

The Dream Water really tasted good, and I know I got a good night sleep as a result of this.  I wish I had access to a bottle of that last night because I just could not get to sleep!  I love the fact that this is not a drug, it is all natural, and it has no calories.  I am seriously considering looking into buying this product so I can have it on hand for nights when I struggle with getting to sleep.  I tend to struggle with sleep when I am near "that time of the month."

I also loved the homeopathic headache product.  I have to admit that I don't always like taking ibuprofen for my somewhat frequent tension, stress, and sinus headaches.  I thought I would give this a try one night, and it really worked!  So easy to use, and it helped my minor headache.  I don't know how well it would work on a major headache, but it is perfect for the minor ones.

The Immuno Gum tasted good, but I can't guarantee that it helps me long term.  I would be willing to try some more.  As to the other products, the Black Label energy pill is fine, but I don't really know how well it worked.  I would need to try more than a sample.  And as to the Perfect Blocks, I am sorry I keep forgetting to try it.  But here is the thing.  I was getting ready to do this particular review last week, and I got another box from the company!  Wow!  So I am doing this one right now, but in another 2-3 weeks, I will do another.  And I will make sure I try the Perfect Blocks.  This review has been waiting long enough, so I wanted to get this one done.

As far as I am concerned, I truly enjoy this subscription service, and I may consider it in the future.  If not for me, it would make a great gift for someone.  I am certainly keeping them in mind.  The company has been nice enough to share a promo code with my readers so you can get their first box of your subscription FREE! (Please note: This promo code entitles the user to $10.00 off a monthly or yearly subscription.)  Use the code DISCOVER.

As a side note, another thing I like is that each of the items in the sample box can be purchased directly from the website, and you can always find more information about them as well.  I am glad I don't have to hunting the internet to find the products I am sampling.

You will want to follow this company on all of their social media links (and they have them all covered).

Re-Body Saffron Hunger Chews

I had the supreme honor of getting the chance to review Saffron Hunger Chews by Re-body.  They are fantastic, good-tasting chews that help keep you feeling full.  I found that when I ate these before a meal, I wasn't quite as ravenously hunger and felt more satisfied.  I have not seen the results of these hunger chews yet, but I have not always remembered to eat them thirty minutes before my meals per the instructions.  That is the hardest thing for me to remember to do.

The best thing about these chews is that they are all natural, and they contain no stimulants.  It is recommended that you take them before your morning and evening meal, and that is something I have not been as good about.  But I have to say that the results don't lie.  If nothing else, they help me feel more full, and they have a natural sweetness I really like.

Mommy's Bliss Natural Bedtime Products For Infants Review

When my daughter was an infant, I remember scouring the shops (and websites) for the best products to calm her down at night.  My daughter never enjoyed going to bed, and I had to be the one to come along and ensure that she went to sleep at night.  There were some rough nights for sure, and it seems that I never really found that "wonder product" that would truly calm her.

Now that my friend has one baby at home and twins on the way, Mommy's Bliss comes out with the products I really could have used back then!  Their Sweet Slumber Line includes the following:

Mommy’s Bliss Sweet Slumber Mist
A peaceful and soothing bedroom is sometimes just what your little one needs to fall asleep smoothly. The Sweet Slumber Mist creates a calm and familiar bedroom environment that prepares your child for a relaxing and easy sleep. This gentle, calming bedroom mist is ideal for your baby’s blanky, pajamas and bed; all without containing any alcohol or artificial fragrances. Retailing for $5.99 for a 3.25 fl. oz. bottle, it can be purchased at Walgreens.

Mommy’s Bliss Sweet Slumber Massage Cream
A fussy baby before bedtime can be a mommy’s worst nightmare. The Sweet Slumber Massage Cream is a gentle, moisturizing cream used to relax your child while nourishing their delicate skin. This non-greasy cream absorbs quickly into your baby’s sensitive skin without irritation. Retailing for $6.99 for an 8.25 fl. oz. bottle, it can be purchased at Walgreens.

Mommy’s Bliss Sweet Slumber Baby Wash
The troubles of bath time for mommy can sometimes become a daunting task, especially if their little one is cranky or fussy. The Sweet Slumber Baby Wash combines the benefits of a body wash, shampoo and bubble bath in one convenient bottle, allowing for an easy and soothing bath time before bed. This tear free formula contains no drying agents and won’t irritate sensitive skin. Retailing for $7.99 for an 11.75 fl. oz. bottle, it can be purchased at Walgreens.

My friend got to try all of these wonderful products with her nine-month-old daughter, and she is looking forward to using these products with her twins who will be born in a few months.  Her daughter has not ever been one who is overly-hyper or hard to calm down when getting ready to go to sleep, but she is readying herself for dealing with twins who may be colicky or hard to calm down.  The smell of these products alone is unbelievable, and I wish I would have had these with my daughter!

So if you have a little one on the way (or know of one who is), I invite you to check them out and follow them via social media.  Be sure to also check out where you can buy this wonderful line of products.

I was sent free products in exchange for my honest review.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine (or my friends', in this case).

WRRYFree Skin Care Review

I have the great pleasure to tell you about a fantastic line of skin care products from WRRYFree Skin Care. This is a line of skin care products that you can feel good about using because it is 100% pure.  And they mean it.  There are no fillers nor additives.  And I can tell you that what they say is correct.

I got the chance to review samples of two products:  Climb On! Bar and Climb On! Creme.  The bar looks like soap when you first see it, but it is actually a kind of cure-all.  you can rub it on your cracked feet, treat cuts and scrapes and so much more.  And it definitely works.  I used it on my feet several times, and it was fantastic.  It helped my poor heels feel much softer.  I also appreciated the creme greatly.  It has these little balls of shea butter (there are no emulsifiers) that melt into my skin the moment I put it on.  I used it on my face, and it always left my face feeling very moisturized.  My pores never felt clogged, and I knew I was treating my skin well.

I would invivte you to check out WRRYFree skin care for yourself.

HCG For a Good Start to a Healthy Lifestyle

It's hard to think about losing weight and eating healthily during the holidays, but as you well know, procrastination and good health do not go hand in hand.  HCG, or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is a hormone that is produced naturally in the human body. While it can be used in a variety of medical situations, it is often referred to as the pregnancy hormone.  When a woman is pregnant, this particular hormone doubles every two days.  Its purpose is to feed the growing baby (and the mother) with metabolized fat that has been stored in the body.  It can easily convert this body fat at a moment's notice, and for weight loss, it is absolutely ideal.  Only a small amount is used in weight loss, and it is equally safe to be used in both men and women.  Even though it is the "pregnancy hormone," it never imitates pregnancy.

As humans get older, it does often become harder and harder to lose weight.  Our problem areas tend to want to hold onto the fat and not easily release it.  Some people will try starvation diets which have the opposite effect.  Your body will work harder and harder to keep the stored fat due to its desire to preserve itself.  Starvation makes your body think it needs to go into survival mode.  Other people turn to diet pills, fad diets, and even surgery.  Many of these may work, but their success rate is not generally lasting.

HCG is one of those methods that works well with a low-calorie diet and sensible exercise plan for optimal weight loss.  It efficiently sends word to your hypothalamus to get the stubborn fat from your trouble spots and turn it into energy.  There are potentially thousands of calories that have been stored in your body and and not available for use until HCG releases it.  You will not run out of energy nor feel hungry as long as you are getting plenty of rest and metabolizing stored fat.  And this will assure that your structural fat and muscle tissue are untouched by HCG.

Stocking Stuffer Toe Juice Holiday Gift Guide

A while back, I have the honor to try Toe Juice, and I jumped at the chance to try it again!  What is Toe Juice?  So glad you asked.  Back in 1970, Royce Gardner, a Boise, Idaho high school science teacher, developed Toe Juice.  He was inspired to develop it due to his baby son's cracking, flaking skin on his feet.  He had tried all sorts of creams and topical lotions to no avail.  He continued to research until he found the combination that finally cleared up his son's skin problem.

I have been using Toe Juice off and on since I first tried it.  It did clear up some acne on my face when nothing else would.  This liquid is fast-drying, and it is all natural.  Although it is called "Toe Juice," it can be used on a variety of ailments:
  • Acne
  • Athletes foot
  • Cold Sores
  • Diabetic
  • Eczema
  • I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
  • Foot Problems
  • Ichthyosis Psoriasis
  • Insect Bites
  • Jock Itch
  • Jungle Rot
  • Misc. Skin Irritation
  • Rashes
  • Ringworm
  • Warts
Okay, I'm going to show you a before and after on my heel.  I have had horrible calluses and dry skin on my feet for years.  I have been regularly using Toe Juice, and here is the before and after.

I realize this is absolutely disgusting.  The skin on my feet often looks like this.  Since using Toe Juice regularly for a couple weeks:

Actually, these are pretty dramatic, in my opinion.  I hadn't realized just how bad my heels were till now!

This is the perfect stocking stuffer this holiday season.

All Natural Ginger Tummydrops Review

For whatever reason, I tend to have minor stomach issues here and there from time to time.  Whether it is "that time of the month" or dinner just didn't set well with me, I find myself using some kind of product to help ease that issue.  While the products I had been using always seem to work, I am always open to trying something new that might work better.

I was very happy to get to try Tummydrops.  This is an all-natural alternative to all those chemicals that we often use to treat our stomach issues.  When these were formulated, the creators began with a natural and potent source of gingerol as well as other natural flavors.  The product they created is an easy-to-carry, great-tasting product that you can take with you anywhere.

I was pleased to get to try both the ginger and peppermint tummydrops (find them here).  This is the ideal item to have with you this holiday season.  If you overindulge or even have too much to drink one night (or more), this the ideal product for you to naturally relieve those stomach problems.  I was equally happy with both varieties.  When I first tried the ginger drops, I was blown away by the strength of the flavor.  It did take a little getting used to, but it instantly worked.  The peppermint flavor was amazing as well.  I cannot say your kids will like these, but I would venture to say you will.  I found that they worked instantly.  I have used them almost every single night at bedtime since they arrived on my doorstep.

Are you looking for a great product to fill the Christmas stockings this year?  You won't be sorry with this product!  And it feels so good to be using natural products instead of chemicals!

Be sure to follow the company on facebook and twitter while you are checking them out!

Parvenu Hair Products Review--The Only Hair Products I Will Ever Need!

Over the years, I have had many different hairstyles.  If you would have seen me in high school, you would have seen my long hair--down to my waist, and I insisted on wave perms once every six months or so.  My hair is thick and naturally blonde.  When I lost all my weight, I decided to get my hair cut, and I now have shoulder-length hair, but my hair is still just as thick as it always was.  And I still struggle with split ends and even tangles, if you can believe it.

There is another issue I struggled with as a child and teen, and once in a while it still makes an appearance.  Dandruff/dry scalp.  Thankfully I don't have to use those horrible dandruff shampoos any more, but I still tend to struggle with dry scalp.  And add hairstyling products to that, and my hair gets to feeling really awful (not to mention my scalp).

Well, I think I have found a solution to my hair care issues.  As a blogger, I get to try all sorts of products, and I have given rave reviews to many of them.  But let me tell you--this tops them all.  I want to introduce you to Parnevu, if you have not ever heard of this line of hair care products before.  I will admit that I never had, so let me tell you a little about these products.

When I heard that the "secret" ingredient to these was tea tree oil, I was quite intrigued.  Over the years, tea tree oil has been a bit of a cure-all for me from yeast infections to acne to mouthwash, it seems to work well!  And indeed, it is advertised as the "wonder from Down Under" for a reason.  This stuff works, and yes, it comes from Australia.

I was privileged to get to try three products from Parvenu (you can see them pictured above).  I tried T-Tree Shampoo, T-Tree Spray Glosser, and Extra-Dry Leave-In Conditioner.  I would have happily taken a picture of my hair, but honestly, a picture would not have shown anything different.  This is one of those things that I would notice, and it is more about the feel than the look.

Let's start with the T-Tree Shampoo.  It was all I could do to keep from writing a review the evening I first used this.  Why?  Because the moment I massaged it into my hair and scalp, I felt the tea tree oil invigorating my scalp.  It was so wonderful, and I knew I had found the shampoo I was always looking for!  This stuff smells pretty good, too.  And since using this shampoo, I have not noticed my scalp itching almost at all.  Even though it is a shampoo, it honestly does a pretty good job of conditioning my hair.  It replaces the moisture that everyday styling takes away.

I also got to try the T-Tree Spray Glosser.  I got this with the idea that I might be able to use this instead of a mousse or spray gel, and basically, I was right.  This along with the next product I will tell you about have become my staples when it comes to styling my hair.  I still occasionally use hair spray, but honestly, this give a nice gloss and shine to my hair and even helps hold the basic shape of my hairstyle.  No, it's not a substitute for hairspray, but it gives my hair a "damp" look that really looks nice and stays somewhat in place.

I also got to try the Extra-Dry Leave-In Conditioner, and I cannot tell you how much I love this stuff!  I did get the extra dry as opposed to the regular, and you can see what kind of container this product has.  I like it because you don't have to deal with a spray bottle that stops working or gets clogged with the conditioner.  And this stuff is absolutely fabulous!  I used this conditioner after I washed my hair and practically ever day for styling.  And it does work like a mousse for holding my hair in place.  I never felt that my hair got greasy or anything else like that.  It conditioned my hair well, and I am definitely sold on this product!

So, what do you think?  This company has a whole line of wonderful products (and they are priced well, in my opinion), and I hope to get to check out even more of them.  I feel like this is the hair care product I have been looking for all of my life, and I think my product search in this area is done!

Update:  I decided to post a picture after all.  So here is a picture of my hair:

Somnapure Natural Sleep Aid Review

My mom is almost 69, and for as long as I can remember, sleep has been an issue with her.  The older she gets, the harder it is.  She is kept awake for all sorts of reasons.  Sometimes she has pain, and other times she is not active enough.  And then there are the times that her mind just gets going, and she cannot settle down.  I talked her into doing a review for me, and I am happy to report that she agreed!

"Somnapure is the safe and effective natural sleep aid that will help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling refreshed.  Best of all, Somnapure’s unique formula is non-habit forming and safe to use every night. Combining ingredients that help you relax as well as enjoy a great night’s sleep, Somnapure helps your body return to a healthy sleep routine holistically." (directly from the manufacturer's website)

I was sent a two-week sample for my mom to try, and she was eager to get going with it.  She took it faithfully every night (I think she did miss one night by mistake) with an open mind, and I will now report to you the results.

My mom took Somnapure about 30 minutes to an hour before bed, and this stuff worked pretty fast.  The first time she used it, she felt a little dizzy when she tried to get up.  It relaxed her, and it caused her sleep much more soundly.  This is the first "sleeping pill" my mother has ever really agreed to take.  And we both were happy to discover that it is non-habit-forming and only contains natural ingredients.  Wondering what is in it?

  • Melatonin
  • L-Theanine
  • Valrerian extract
  • Hops extract
  • Lemon balm
  • Chamomile flower
  • Passion flower
You can read more about each of these items on their website.  I was only familiar with a few of them, but whatever it is, they work!

I am not saying that my mom never struggled with sleep again.  There were times she still struggled to sleep, but I can say that by in large, she had a lot more energy.  Also, the more regularly she took them, the better they worked.  And when she ran out of the sample, I could definitely tell the shift that occurred.  She fell back into her old patterns.

So what do I think?  I have no problem recommending Somnapure.  It is a sleeping aid that actually works.  I will warn you that it is a little pricey, so you have to decide if it is worth the price.  But when you balance your health and the cost of this sleeping aid, you will probably be inclined to give Somnapure a try!

Hicural--the Ultimate Remedy for Hiccups--Review

When I was growing up, hiccups were a real problem for me.  I used to get them all the time!  And it became very painful and annoying.  As an adult, I don't get them often, but when I do, they are deep and painful. I have done all the normal hiccup remedies such as drinking water, holding my breath, and other suggested remedies.  But I have to admit those remedies are often not all that effective.  And they certainly don't work on the first time.

Let me introduce you to Hicural, the new shape of hiccup relief.  The CEO and founder of the company had suffered from terrible bouts of hiccups for a good share of his life, and he came up with the idea almost by accident.  This company was founded in 2010, and it is just now beginning to hit drugstore shelves.

I will tell you that when I got a chance to try this, I figured it would not work.  I couldn't imagine that anything could stop hiccups every time.  There couldn't be a product like that!  And it wasn't long after this product arrived that I got the chance to try it out.

I was intrigued first by the unusual shape.  It is a straight bar with a tab that needs to face outwards.  Then you put the bar in your mouth and drink water.  And you know what?  It worked instantly!  And the hiccups did not come back!

My daughter is one who suffers from hiccups, and I have not shown her how to use this product, but I plan to in the future.  This is a fantastic product that finally brings an end to hiccups.  I am pleased with this product, and I like the fact that it comes with a protective case so you can take it with you.

So if you have ever have had hiccups or you currently struggle with them, check out this product.  I know it works, and it is the only hiccups remedy I need!

I received the above products through Sublime Media Connection in exchange for an honest review. In no way was I asked to give a positive review.

Susan Brown's Baby All Natural Dead Sea Salt Foot Soak and Foot Therapy Cream Review

About anyone who knows me well knows that I have horrible feet--honestly!  My feet are covered with calluses and lots of hard skin.  There are also some bunions that never seem to want to go away.  I have tried just about everything over the past several years.  Yes, my feet are definitely better than they once were, but I still have dry, cracked feet.

I am very happy to tell you about the company Susan Brown's Baby.  They are an all-natural company that makes things for mom and baby, and they only use the finest ingredients around. This means that even pregnant moms can use their products because there are no Parabens, no animal products, and no animal testing!

I was fortunate to try their Dead Sea Salt Foot Soak. They add in natural mint and tea tree oils to relieve stress while cooling, soothing, and moisturizing your feet.. Their dermatologist tested complex includes Natural Essential Oil Aromatherapy, to calm in addition to the moisturizing properties.

From the beginning, I knew this was something I could hardly wait to put my feet into!  I loved the smell of this foot soak, and I knew I was doing something nice for my feet.  My feet came out of the soak feeling revived and quite a bit softer.

But the company did not stop with just one product.  To complete the set, they sent me Foot Therapy Cream which  is a rich hydrating formulation infused a dermatologist tested array of rich botanical moisturizers including SHEA, JOJOBA, COCOA AND MORINGA BUTTERS.  You can use this without the foot soak, but I think it is the perfect complement to the foot soak.  I loved the smell of this lotion, but I will admit I wish it were a little bit thicker.  But that is just a personal preference.  It worked well to soften my feet.  I can assure you it would take more than one day to get my feet where they need to be, but mainly I notice that my feet don't feel as tired or as sore.

I want to invite you to check out every item this company offers.  Check out their entire line of products here or at any of their partner sites:  Diapers.com, BabiesrUs.com and Amazon.com.  Don't let the name fool you!  Just because it's says Mom and Baby does not mean that it will not work for you!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Morrigan Cover Reveal Giveaway (Ends 9/28) U.S./Canada

Welcome to the Morrigan Cover Reveal Giveaway, sponsored by Author Laura DeLuca, Mom to Bed by 8, The Sisters Elemental, The Whimsical Pixie, Crones Magical Crafts / Moonwise Creationz, and New Age Mama! This is a giveaway filled with magic and we're sure you will enjoy walking through the land of Tír Na nÓg with our heroine and all her supporters.  To start off the fun, lets share a little about the YA novel, Morrigan, which is due to be released by Pagan Writers Press on October 31st, 2012!

Morrigan Blurb

Shuffled from place to place in the foster system, Morrigan
doesn't know the meaning of home. Plus, she is different. She has power over
fire, the ability to move objects with her mind, and glimpse into the future.
Just when she believes her life can’t get any stranger, she discovers her true
identity.

Filtiarn, a knight with a dark past and a surprising secret,
has been tasked with guiding the heir of Tír Na NÓg through countless perils to
be returned to her family. Once Morrigan has been reunited with her mother and
grandmother, their triad can save the forgotten land of magic from being
devoured by an ancient evil.

Morrigan Excerpt
Morrigan took out a white candle and a
stick of dragon blood incense, and set them up in the corner of the room. She
sat cross-legged, and leaned forward to light them. No matches were
necessary.  No lighter either. She simply
touched her finger to the end of the wick, and with an iridescent spark, the
candle flickered to life.  It shone at
first with a bright blue flame that gradually settled into a more normal
orange. It was the same with the incense—another reason why she preferred not
to have an audience.

She stared into the candle for a moment, and took a few deep breaths to
clear her mind of all thoughts but those of the magic she intended to perform.
Danu and Dagda sat on either side of her, instantly falling into silence, as
though they knew she needed her complete concentration. Their energy beside her
only seemed to add to the every growing sense of power that charged the room.

Morrigan closed her eyes and began to shuffle the cards. As she did, she
allowed her breathing to become more even. A silence filled the room as the
rest of the mortal world fell away. Soon the only sound she heard was the light
thump of her own heartbeat, echoed by the quicker, fast paced beat of the cats’
hearts. She wasn’t sure how much time passed as the cards slipped through her
fingers. It might have been minutes. It might have been hours. When she allowed
herself to fall into a trace, time became insubstantial, irrelevant.

The tarot cards were so old; the designs on the back were almost
completely worn away. She had to shuffle gently to keep them from crumbling to
pieces in her hands. Yet they held a power that she knew no newer cards could
ever offer. As she shuffled them, she focused her energy into them,
silently requesting to be given the answers she was seeking.  She allowed the image of her mother to fill
her mind. When she finally felt the cards had fallen into the order they were
meant to be in, she placed the deck face down on the floor, and cut them with
her right hand. Then, taking one last, calming breath, she lifted the top card
from the pile. With a trembling hand, she laid it down and read it.

“Wheel of Fortune,” she said aloud.
In the center of card was a wheel. As she
stared at the picture, that wheel seemed to start turning clockwise. The
movements made her feel slightly dizzy. The bedroom around her became more and
more surreal.  The scene on the card
became her reality. The figure of the sphinx that sat on top of the turning
wheel looked so very real. It might have turned its head to look at her. Its
lips may or may not have moved. But Morrigan swore she heard a deep, resonating
voice whispering the meaning of the card into her ear. Destiny approaching. An
unexpected and sudden change was coming—change that could lead to good
fortune.
It was the card of fate and karma
returned. It meant that she needed to be prepared—to expect the unexpected.
Morrigan knew the cards were telling her something was going to happen—and
soon. Her destiny, whatever it was, was about to be realized. Even if it did
bring with it fortune of some kind, it still scared her to death. So much so,
she considered packing up the cards right then and there. Her rational mind had
every intention of doing just that. The problem was, her hands didn’t get the
message her brain was sending them. Before she knew what she was doing, she had
already flipped over the second card.

“The Empress,” she whispered. She exhaled deeply. “My mother.”
       It was the only interpretation
imaginable. Even as she said it, the pregnant woman, crowned with stars and
adorned in a gown decorated with pomegranates, turned to her and smiled. No
longer the vague featureless stranger that was there just a moment ago, but the
same woman she had sketched earlier that day—a face that mirrored her own. It
was an older version of herself, which she saw in the reflection in the nearby
full length mirror, had turned chalk white.

The Empress was a symbol of maternal power—of a strong feminine
influence. But could it mean…did she even dare to hope that her mother was
returning? She had never allowed herself to consider such a possibility. To
dwell on something so unlikely would have been too painful.  But now, with just the flip of a card, she
found herself daring to dream it might be so. There was only one way to find
out for sure. She had to keep going with the reading.

“Six of Cups.”

The third card in the spread
represented her past, and even her immediate present. The six of cups
specifically symbolized childhood, and she was, technically, still a child. But
she had a feeling that her childhood was about to end quite abruptly. The cups
in the picture were lined up across a high, stone wall, each cup holding the
memories of her past.

Her past. It was nothing but a childhood filled with longing—longings
which were perhaps about to be fulfilled.
She visualized herself taking each cup down from the wall, and pouring
the troubling memories away. It was time to start fresh. A new world was about
to open up for her. She had known it as soon as she had seen the image of her
mother’s face. But what would that world be like? What was waiting for her in
the future?

   Morrigan turned over the fourth
card.

“The Knight of Wands.”
The man on the horse carrying the staff
had her baffled. Not because she didn’t know its normal meaning, but because as
she stared at the card, it began to take on the physical attributes of the
knight in her drawings.  He had the same
long dreadlocks, the same bewitching stare, even the same cocky smile. It was
not at all the blank face that was nearly worn away from time that should been
staring back at her. Yet, the familiarity did not cancel out the meaning of the
card. The knight of wands was representative of a dark man filled with a kind
of honey-tongued charm. He was also fiery and arrogant, a man with a definite
possibility of a dark side. If the knight of wands was coming into her life,
she knew she needed to proceed with caution.
She thought she was done with the fourth
card, and was preparing to move on to the next, when once again, she found she
had lost control of her own body. This time, her hands refused to move, while
her eyes forced their way back to the knight in the card. She watched as the
longhaired stranger began to move forward—wondering over various
landscapes—some high mountains, some meadows and fields ripe for the harvest.
He kept looking back over his shoulder, as though he were speaking to someone.
He was on a journey, and he wasn’t alone. Morrigan didn’t need to see his
companion to know who it must be.

So, her journey would soon begin, and she wouldn’t be traveling alone.
She would have a guide. Whether or not that would be a good thing was another
question best left to the cards to answer. However, the next card told her
nothing she didn’t already know.
      “The Moon,” she said. “Caution.”
It was a scary card. It warned of tricks
and illusions. The two howling wolves that stood under the moon looked back at
her menacingly, growling, showing their pointed fangs in a snarl.  For the first time since she began the
reading, Danu and Dagda made their presence known by lifting their heads and hissing
threateningly in the direction of the beasts.
Even the cats sensed it. The journey she
was about to embark on wouldn’t be all fun and family reunions. There would be
obstacles and deceit, most likely from people she though could be trusted. The
moon was a sign that danger was certainly awaiting her. In was an ominous omen.
      “Shhhh.”

She hushed the still hissing cats, and gave them each a gentle stroke to
try to settle them down, though she was far from settled herself. Again she felt
the urge to stop the spread. Her instincts were telling her that no good was
going to come out of this reading. That she was only going to scare herself.
She should never have done it in the first place. When would she learn that
sometimes it was best to just let life play out without interference or
prophetic warnings? Then again, she knew that to be forewarned might be her
only advantage. So with more bravery than she felt, Morrigan flipped over the
final card.
“No…” she gasped when she looked down at
the terrible, skeletal face.  “Oh no…”

She should have known. She thought perhaps a part of her did know
even before she glanced down at the gruesome scene—a skeleton with a scythe in
a field of body parts. With the divination going in the direction it was, what
else could be the final outcome?

“Death,” she whispered. “Death.”

She knew that in most cases, the death card was more a symbol of
personal transformation than literal death. But a deeper sense of understanding
told her that this time the card was meant to be taken literally. She saw only
glimpses and shadows in her mind. Brief flashes of faces, some familiar, like
her mother and the knight—some still strangers, like a beautiful, almost
angelic blonde woman in a flowing white gown. But around them all, including
herself, she saw the shadows of death. Someone would die. That was
certain. Whether that person was Morrigan or someone else, neither the cards
nor her sixth sense was willing to reveal.
Morrigan felt decidedly shaky as she
gathered up her tarot cards. She placed them securely in the bottom of her bag
just as she heard the door downstairs slam shut. The reading hadn’t made
everything as crystal clear as she had hoped, but one thing was certain. She
would soon be leaving on a journey—a journey that would undoubtedly end in
death.

The “Phantom” was a musical phenomenon that Rebecca had always found
enchanting. She had no idea that her life was about to mirror the play
that was her obsession. When her high school drama club chooses
“Phantom” as their annual production, Rebecca finds herself in the
middle of an unlikely love triangle and the target of a sadistic stalker
who uses the lines from the play as their calling card.

Rebecca
lands the lead role of Christine, the opera diva, and like her
character, she is torn between her two co-stars—Tom the surfer and
basketball star who plays the lovable hero, and Justyn, the strangely
appealing Goth who is more than realistic in the role of the tortured
artist.

Almost immediately after casting, strange things start to
happen both on and off the stage. Curtains fall. Mirrors are shattered.
People are hurt in true phantom style. They all seem like accidents
until Rebecca receives notes and phone calls that hint at something more
sinister. Is Justyn bringing to life the twisted character of the
phantom? Or in real life are the roles of the hero and the villain
reversed? Rebecca doesn’t know who to trust, but she knows she’s running
out of time as she gets closer and closer to opening night. Only when
the mask is stripped away, will the twenty first century phantom finally
be revealed.

sets out on a journey that may be their last. Along the way, they meet
