I think that anyone employed in any aspect of the medical profession is someone who has a pretty secure job. After all, it seems that everyone gets sick or has to go to the doctor at some point, and doctors cannot function without nurses.  Becoming a nurse can be a very demanding undertaking.  If someone chooses to enter and complete an RN program, that can be overwhelming enough.  However, we all know that more schooling can only benefit an individual.  After all, having a degree to display often carries more weight than just a license.  But getting that extra schooling can be time-consuming if you are trying to support yourself and/or raise a family.

The good news is that you can go for an rn to bsn online.  The online program is specifically created for busy adults who want to get that coveted BSN.  The program is flexible, and they are offered in 5-week blocks and 10-week blocks.  You can fit the classes in with your schedule, and within a year, you can have that degree you seek.  Class sizes are small, and you will be able to join other nurses who share your goals.  You can also rest assured that this online program is nationally accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).  This means you don't have to worry about not getting the credit that you deserve.

As far as I'm concerned, online education is the best option for busy people.  If I ever go back for more education, I am pretty sure I will do online classes so that I can work at my own pace whenever I want to.  If you are someone who is able to pace yourself and be disciplined to do your work without having to physically attend class, this may be just the program for you.  Indeed becoming a BSN may be a more attainable goal than you thought.
