Kind of interesting feature today. It was on this date i n 1976, that the first women were admitted to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. There was a total of 157 women, and in 1980, 97 of those women graduated.
I find it interesting that it took so long for this sort of thing to occur. But then again, women in the military is something that is still not widely promoted. I know when I think of military, I think of men, not women. Even I am influenced by the stereotypes.
