What a delightful little mystery romance.  I was pleasantly surprised because I was not sold on the idea of reviewing this book.  What a surprise I got!  This book has it all:  a little bit of romance, mystery, and a well-written story.  I have never read anything by this author in the past, but I am glad I chose to!

As to my rating, I did wonder whether I would give it a 4- or 5-star rating.  I could have given it a 4-star, but there were a couple things that pushed it over the edge.  The humor in the book is quite entertaining.  I get so tired of authors not putting good humor in their books.  And the writing is excellent.  The characters are 3-dimensional, and even though most of the story follows a typical formula, the author throws a couple of things in to make it a little more interesting.

There is some profanity in the book, and there is a bedroom scene.  I am glad to say that both are fairly minimal.  But I do post this as a warning.  I can honestly recommend this is a nice, light, easy read that mystery and romance lovers will equally enjoy.
