This Day in History January 27, 1756

One of the most talented musicians who ever lived was born on this date in 1756.  Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart was a child prodigy, and though he lived a short life, he left us with a wealth of music.  His adult life was troubled in many ways.  He began studying music at the age of four and began touring with his sister at the age of six.   He wrote his first piece of music at the age of five.  In spite of his great accomplishments, he was buried in a pauper's grave, and to this date, no one knows where his grave is located.  I think it safe to say that had he lived a longer life, there is no telling how he may have changed the face of music and what he may have accomplished.
