While I am not a big fan of Sarah McLachlan, it was on this date in 1968 that she was born.  And no one can deny the fact that she is a fantastic singer with an amazing career.  She grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in an adopted family.  She currently resides in Vancouver, Canada, is married to her drummer, and has two daughters.  She has won a total of three Grammy Awards amongst other awards.  And the following video is truly my favorite song of hers (and it is probably her signature song).
