Blogorama Bonanza Back 2 School Sponsor Spotlight: Kidini Bully Prevention & Child Safety Program Review

For most of my daughter's school life, she has struggled with bullies.  I can remember all the way back to kindergarten when she struggled with a kid who kept bothering her.  And when she was in second grade, she was even sexually harassed by a sixth grader.  I am glad to know that in every instance, my daughter knew what to do.  And the school was wonderful in taking very swift action.

Unfortunately, bullying is something that most children will experience during their school career (and possibly beyond), and I am so glad to be able to tell you about a terrific resource to help kids do just that.  It is the Kidini Bully Prevention & Child Safety Program.  This is a fantastic resource that includes a parent/child activity book, two CD's (song only CD and stories/song CD), and eight trading cards.  I had the chance to review this resource, and I have to say that I am impressed.  I have worked with the school counselor on many occasions over the years, and this resource is one of the best I have seen.  It is perfect for preschool through around age eight.

I love the characters in the Activity Book.  There are eight different characters, and each one represents a step that students should take when it comes to bullying and keeping themselves safe.  I like the fact that the program gives kids a step-by-step approach because sometimes kids don't know exactly how to respond or what to do in a specific situation.

Because I am a music teacher, I know the power of teaching kids through music.  This is something I feel very strongly about, and this is something that makes learning fun for kids.  I have found that if you are teaching kids something and you add a song to it, their retention is much higher.  I think the addition of music makes this much more fun!

The cards are something that the kids can carry around with them for easy reference.  I think when you can take kids through a program and then give them something tangible to remind them of what they learned, they will retain the information a lot more.

So, if you are a parent, teacher, administrator, grandparent, or anyone who has a special child, this is a wonderful resource I would encourage you to get.  And right now, the  company is running a great deal.  Usually this resource is $11.99, but you can now get it for $9.99!  Certainly something to get right now before the price jumps back up!

And while you're checking out the site, be sure to like them on facebook and follow them on twitter.

I was sent a free product from the company in exchange for my honest review.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
