This Day in History February 20, 1839

Here's a bit of trivia for you.  On this date in 1839, Washington D.C. passed an anti-dueling law.  You might know about the famous duel that claimed Alexander Hamilton's life.  Unfortunately, this wasn't the only duel to the death, and Congress acted at last.  Thankfully, other states were soon to follow in passing this legislation, and I am so glad that this kind of thing does not occur any more.
