This Day in History February 26, 1975

I am hoping the information is correct--I don't have a lot of time to thoroughly check it out.  It was on this date in 1975, that the first live kidney transplant was performed.  Dr. Kountz went on the Today Show to raise awareness for patients awaiting kidney transplants.  Around 20,000 called in to offer their kidneys for donation.
