Check Out Campus Book Rentals For All Your College Book Needs

CampusBookRentals.com FAQ's:

Even as the school year winds down, many people are already looking towards college in the fall.  Some students entering  college in the fall will be recent high school graduates, and some will be what used to be called  "non-traditional," older students.  There will even be graduate students.  And something that all these students can agree on is that one of the most expensive things about college life is buying books!  It was always one of the worst parts of getting ready for a new semester--even 20 years ago!  I couldn't stand buying a book for a class when I knew I would never use it again after I finished the class.  Even buying a used book was not a whole lot cheaper and not always easy to come by.

Thankfully, college students today have another option--Campus Book Rentals.  That's right!  You can rent textbooks.  Some of the perks of using their service are:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
-we donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented

I don't know about you, but this sounds like a win-win situation.  You can order a book, rent it for the semester (or however long you need it), and they donate to Operation Smile!  You get the book for the time period you need it, and you don't have to keep it!  Sounds pretty exciting to me.

Even though I am not currently a college student, I thought I would check out what books they have for rent.  I was a music major, and we needed lots of books that we never would use again--I am sure you can relate!
I am not certain which book I might be required to have if I were taking this courses today, but I found this one.  This is a book on the history of Western Music.  This book costs nearly $71.00 if you buy it.  Even as a music teacher, I never referred to my music history book again.  I found it was easier to find the information online or in easy-to-read books (textbooks are not terribly exciting reading).  If I were to rent this book, it would only cost me around $24.  That is a tremendous savings, as far as I am concerned.  I get to have the book for the class and then send it back!  And I will save over half of what I would have paid.  And more than likely, the book I would be required to use would cost more like $100 or more.  I would have jumped at this chance back in college.

Not convinced?  Let's take a psychology book--everyone has to take that class.  That book is available on amazon for $135, and you won't get it for much cheaper.  If you rent it for the semester, you will only pay about $34.  That is $100 savings!

So be sure to check out Campus Book Rentals for all of your college books needs.  I have gotten so excited, I would almost be willing to go back to college to use the service!  Not really, but I want to make a note to remember them when I want to study something on my own and not buy the book.  I plan to check them out, and I encourage you to do so, too.
