I was privileged to review Natural Dentist's Healthy Gum Rinse. Here is the press information about this great product!
If you are experiencing “pink in the sink” when you spit out your toothpaste, or blood on your dental floss, take heed. People mistakenly think this is a sign that they are brushing hard/well or flossing efficiently, but bleeding gums is actually a symptom of gingivitis, and it is a warning sign that your gums need serious attention.
Dentists estimate that 80% of us develop gum disease in our lifetimes, ranging from mild gingivitis to severe periodontitis. If left untreated, however, gum disease may progress to other oral health issues, including tooth loss (it’s the #1 reason for adult tooth loss!). Other studies and experts, including Dr. Oz, have also linked gum disease to heart disease, stroke, breast cancer and respiratory diseases, such as COPD.
While it can happen to anyone, the following raise the risk for developing gingivitis:
§ Poor dental hygiene
§ Pregnancy/puberty/menopause (hormonal changes increase the sensitivity of the gums)
§ Uncontrolled diabetes
§ Genetics/family history (30% of general population susceptible to gum disease)
§ Smoking
§ Stress
§ Medications
§ General illness
Gingivitis is due to the long-term effects of plaque deposits, and it is often painless, so bleeding gums may be your only symptom until it has progressed further along (other symptoms are swollen/tender gums, receding gums, and/or persistent bad breath). Luckily, one of the early warning signs of the gum inflammation ISthe bleeding you see when you brush or floss, so it is your body’s way of telling you something’s not right. If you have a family history of this issue or notice bleeding when you brush or floss, you should schedule a dental visit to evaluate your condition, as well as take steps at home by adding The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Anti-Gingivitis Rinse to your oral care regimen.

Ever since I became pregnant with my daughter, my gums have never been the same. She will be nine this year, and my gums are still a problem. Not as bad as they once were, but if I am not proactive, I am almost embarrassed to go the dentist. And I brush and floss regularly--go figure.
I am always looking for products to help me with my mouth. I jumped at the chance to try this rinse. When it arrived, I was somewhat concerned. I have tried my share of natural mouth rinses and washes, and sometimes, the flavor is horrid. You don't think about grapefruit seed extract as tasting good. And you know what? I was pleasantly surprised! It was nice not to have a stinging mouth rinse, and the flavor was extraordinary! I am sold. I don't know if my gums have gotten any better, but it certainly hasn't hurt. I can hope that maybe this will keep my mouth sores at bay, too. So far, I haven't had any, and maybe this will reduce the acid in my mouth. I liked this so well that I have already ordered it for when I run out!
In addition to this fantastic mouth rinse, I have decided to continue the "green" theme by recycling books. I have three great mom books that have been previously loved.
Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus (awesome book--a must read for women!)
Humor For a Mom's Heart
God's Little Devotional Book For Women (I can speak for this one, too--great!)
With these books (that are in exceptional condition, I might add), this giveaway will be an awesome prize pack for one of my U.S. readers (sorry to my international peeps!). Be sure to enter the rafflecopter form below by 9:00 P.M. Pacific time May 7. And don't forget to hop on to win even more prizes!
