Ahoy, Matey!  (I always wanted to say that! Okay, not really, but it got your attention, right?  And I did derive some pleasure out of writing that line!)  I want to introduce you to a line of products that is better than buried treasure.  Well, blow me down and shiver me timbers!  Okay, enough of the insanity!  On with the review.

I have seen I See Me books around the blogosphere off and on for a while now.  I kind of wondered about them before, but when I had the chance to review one for my very own, I jumped at the chance!  After all, my daughter (the lovely, 9-year-old tomboy) loves pirates, so it was even better that the personalized book was a pirate theme.



The entire process of personalizing the book was loads of fun.

It was not my daughter's birthday, but I chose to give her a keepsake book that would be something I would cherish even when she no longer wanted it.  In fact, I told her that when she did not want it any longer, I would take it--gladly!

The illustrations and personalization was absolutely beautiful! They did an acrostic based on my daughter's first and last name, and my mom and I were amazed at how well they seemed to know my daughter!

Almost without exception, every word described her to a tee!  I realize that there was no way they could have known my daughter's personality, but somehow they worked it in even so.  As my daughter read the book, her face was bright and smiling--always nice to see.

I think that the possibilities for this book are endless.  What a perfect gift for birthday, Christmas, graduation, baptism/christening, and the list goes on and on.  I honestly don't know why I didn't check these books out before.  I guess I thought they were just for babies, but no.  I think I want one now!
