Welcome to the Literary Giveaway Blog Hop!
The Literary Giveaway Blog Hop is hosted by Leeswammes. Between now and Wednesday, February 13th, you can hop to 40 different book blogs, all offering one or more giveaways of books or bookish items. All books will be literary (non)fiction or something close to that. Follow the links at the bottom of this post to find the other participating blogs.
I am not going to feature a book for the giveaway. I want to make this simple (since I am fighting a cold a little bit behind). You will get to choose a book that is "literary" or "nonfiction"--no romance, supernatural or urban fiction or YA. This is your opportunity to read a classic or a nonfiction book that maybe you have been interested in but have not had the opportunity to read yet. I am opening this worldwide as long as the Book Depository or Fishpond ships to you. Enter the rafflecopter below by 9 P.M. Pacific time on February 13.
a Rafflecopter giveaway Linky List:
I'd love to win a non fiction book, namely "On Writing" by Stephen King, which has been on my wishlist far too long now already. :-)

I'd pick Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson. It's hard to choose since I'm not a nonfiction kind of gal, but I think now's the best time to read these books again. It's been a long time since I was in college and read books in this genre. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd choose The Night Circus if that is eligible!
ReplyDeleteI'd probably choose The Gargoyle or Wuthering Heights, who knows..

ReplyDeleteI'd like to choose The Kill by Emile Zola
ReplyDeleteI'd choose The Handmaid's Tale, or The Summer of the Ubume.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I guess it depends on the definition used of literary for these purposes. If it includes the actual category of literary fiction, that is most of what I read so I would have a big decision to make! As for nonfiction, I would have to look a bit :) Classics - I am sure there are some I want to read that I don't already have, but I would have to take a look! Wonderful giveaway, thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI would choose Love, Lucy by Lucille Ball. I've been interested in reading her autobiography.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which I'd choose between Little Women and Wuthering Heights
ReplyDeleteEither Dracula or Frankenstein!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! :)
