3 in 30 Challenge--1/6/12 Link-Up--Specificity is Key!

I am linking up to today with 3 in 30 Challenge.  I have made more progress than I thought I would, and I think I have some good direction.

Here is my progress so far.

1.  Get down to 145 pounds by the end of this month.  Okay, I am still in the infancy stages of this.  School just started back this week, and I am getting myself on schedule.  Here is what I have decided to do.  I am going to focus each week on a specific thing concerning each of my goals, and that is exactly what I am doing this week with this one.  I think I am up to around 150 pounds from over the holidays, so I may not get down to my goal by the end of this month.  But this is what I am doing.

  • The week's concentration is Abs.  My stomach is where most of my weight sits.  So I am going to spend about 10 minutes 5 days of this week on abs exercises.  Let's see how I do.
  • Plan healthy meals using pantry items that need to be used up.  I am getting ready to that after this post goes live.
  • Reduce the portion of my evening snack.  I tend to get a little crazy at night about my snacks and sometimes eat too much.  
2.  Clean out my closet.  I have begun the process.  I went through my clothes and got rid of a lot of clothes I did not like or wear any more.  And I have been through the upper portion of my closet.  All that remains is the floor level.  I am pretty pleased with this goal.

3.  Clean out my e-mail inbox.  Nope, haven't really even started.  I am so far behind sometimes!  I must get on the ball.

As for my resolutions, I believe I have picked a project to do.  I will post about it when I do.  My plan is to try one new thing each month, and I think I have picked out what I will do.  Check out this board on pinterest, and you might have a vague idea of what I am doing.
