Twinkle Tuesday--Pinterest Mission Abs

I know it has been ages since I have done a "Twinkle Tuesday" post.  For months, it seems like my blog has just taken off, and my old schedule seems "out the window."  But I haven't stressed over it.  And it just so happens I get to share something tonight that I really liked!

Now, I know that this doesn't seem very earth-shattering.  Everyone knows that these kinds of exercises will strengthen the abs.  But sometimes it is hard to get motivated.  I have pinned several sites, but I find myself coming back to this one.

There is not tutorial with this, but I can tell you what I did.  I did some old-fashioned sit-ups.  We probably know how to do those.  And I am clear on crunches.  Bicycle crunches are just pedaling your feet while doing the crunches.  The V-sits are just forming a "V" with your body.  Reverse crunches?  Legs straight in the air while lifting your rear slightly off the floor.  And a plank.  Start a push-up and just stay there for 1 minute without taking a break.  (If you need to see how to do these exercises, just google them!  I promise there are loads of workout sites there that will tell you how to do them properly.)

I did this routine twice tonight.  And it is tough!  I took a break between the two sets.  I attempted to go straight through the exercises without taking much of a break (if any).  And I know I will feel it tomorrow.  I plan to do this workout three more times this week.

I did go to the site listed on the picture--it ended up redirecting me to two different sites, and there really wasn't a whole lot.  Except I discovered this pin:

This site has loads of videos and workouts for you to do at home.  Why did I pin the timer?  Well, the videos change daily, so I thought this would work better for me.

So, check out any of the sites on my Mission Abs pinboard, and if you have any you think I should add, please do!  I am always willing to find new sites and helps in this area!  At least I have exercised twice this week, and I feel pretty good about it.

  1. These are great abs workout program indeed. I am able to maintain my abs by using an abs equipment I bought from a tv shopping program. I think I should try this killer abs program. Aside from it, I also eat high protein diet.

  2. I've tried killer abs program and I can really attest its effectiveness in giving shapes on the body. I like the bicycle crunches. It's very enjoyable. By the way, it's always a must to wear comfortable clothes when doing your exercises.
