CharmStrandz Charm Bracelet Review

When I was growing up, I seem to remember charm bracelets, but I never owned one.  I think I always one, but things like that were always what other kids got.  And I just admired it from afar.  It really wasn't a big deal, but I had honestly forgotten about charm bracelets until I heard about CharmStrandz.

CharmStrandz is like the charm bracelets I knew as  kid multiplied several times over.  Not only can your child get a personalized charm bracelet for a reasonable price, but they offer so much more.  Boys and girls of any age can easily select a bracelet, a zipper pull, or hair accessories (just to name a few of their offerings) and create their own unique design.  The variety of their charms are mind-boggling, and your child (or even you) will be able to find something to match their style.  They honestly have every design imaginable.  Read on as I share my family's unique experience.

My daughter chose a black charm bracelet to review, and she chose five charms.  Hopefully you can see what she chose--a butterfly, a cat, a dragon, an lizard, and a feather.  I was kind of surprised by a couple things she chose, but she seemed to know what she was doing.  And that is the neat thing about this entire process.  My daughter is nine, and she was able to design this charm bracelet entirely without my help.  She said that the selection of charms was fantastic, but she wished that she could have had more control over the actual colors of the charms.  For example, she has a black cat, but she had to choose a pink cat.  But that was just a minor thing, and she did not remember that being an issue (I was the one who remember that!).

While I put the bracelet together, she certainly could have.  She absolutely loved this bracelet, and it was all I could do to make sure that she didn't wear it to places where she would be inclined to lose it.  She was very proud to show this off to her friends, and this is saying a lot for a tomboy girl!

The only thing I would caution you about is picking feather charms.  Within a day or two, the feather charm (which hangs down much farther than any other charm) broke off.  We tried to repair it, but it seemed better to leave it off the bracelet.  It seems that the feather would work better on a hair accessory than a bracelet, but I am glad we tried it out so we could share our experience with you.

The actual charms clip on easily, and they stay on very well.  You are sure to find special items for all the kids in your life, and I am already thinking Christmas and birthdays for my daughter's friends!  I might even have to look into getting something for me since I never had a charm bracelet as a child!

You will certainly want to check out the reviews of the other members in our group since not everyone reviewed a charm bracelet.  See those links below:

Be on the lookout very soon for a giveaway from the company on this blog, and be sure to check out CharmStrandz on facebook and twitter.

I received this product through Karma Media in exchange for my honest review.
