My bloggy friend was asked to review TheraNeem Pet Shampoo by Organix South, and she jumped at the chance. She is always looking for something that will keep her cats (Yikes!) coat clean and shiny. She received a 12 fl.oz bottle of their pet shampoo along with samples (for her) of TheraNeem's Facial Complexion Cleansing bar, TheraNeem Neem Leaf, Oil & Bark Bar, Naked Organix Renewing Therape Cleansing Bar and Naked Organix Body Butter. (Good grief--is she lucky, or what?)
She had the "pleasure" of bathing her cats over the weekend...oh what fun it is to bathe a cat! Needless to say, she didn't get any pictures of the cat's bathing as she and her son had their hands full just keeping them still. She has four cats in the house that needed a bath. She first tried it on Mr. Danks, a 15-year-old, long-haired cat with extra sensitive skin, and he was the one she was most worried about. This shampoo worked impressively on him. For the first time in ages, his fur was so soft, clean and shiny. There was no harsh or chemical smell--just a clean, fresh scent. She waited a few days before posting this review so she could see how Mr. Danks skin allergies reacted to the shampoo. Indeed, she is extremely happy to report that there is no itching or redness anywhere on him! Bodhi, Louie and Kitten also had no problems after bathing.
She and her son both tried the samples and were very pleased with the results. Chris was actually pleased with the body butter (which surprised my bloggy friend--a boy liking body butter?). According to him, it was "a bit waxy." So she "educated" him about body butter.
