I cannot believe it.  He is 92 today!  On this date in 1920, Mickey Rooney was born.

He is an amazing entertainer.  His career has spanned 90 years!  Good grief!  I first knew him in Black Stallion amongst other films.  Then when I went through my Judy Garland phase, I was shocked to see that he was a singer and dancer as well.

The man has been married eight times!  Yikes!  One of his quotes:  "Always get married early in the morning.  That way, if it doesn't work out, you haven't wasted a whole day."

In more recent times, he spoke out against elder abuse (of which he had been a victim).
