Well, this might interest you if you have ever bought a lottery ticket (or even if you haven't).  It was on this date in 1964, that New Hampshire became the first U.S. state to legally sell lottery tickets.  Personally, I have never bought a lottery ticket nor do I plan to.  But I did have an uncle who won pretty big on the lottery years ago.
