My daughter is one who is likes sunglasses when she thinks about them. And that is the problem--she doesn't think about them. She easily sets them down and loses them, and I sometimes figure--why even try to protect her eyes? I know that sounds bad, but there are times I feel like giving up.
I want to tell you about a fantastic company that seems like it has been tailor-made for my daughter. It is called Real Kids Shades. Since 2002 (when they began), their mission has been to protect children's eyesight from damaging UV radiation. They offer kids sunglasses from infants all the way up through age 12. These sunglasses look nice, are durable, and work! The company wants to stress that protecting children's eyesight all year long form the sun is crucial. Just because it is cloudy does not mean there are no UV rays out there!
As you can see in the above picture, she got to review Xtreme Gear Convertible. These sunglasses are ingenious. You have the choice of wearing the sunglasses with the traditional frames that go around your ears or removing those and replacing those with a sports wrap. Guess which way she wears them!
As for the company, you will want to follow them via social media (links below). And they are having a contest right now to win a $250 Visa Card. They are also running a special through September 27--20% of everything on their website.

I received the above products through Sublime Media Connection in exchange for an honest review. In no way was I asked to give a positive review.
What a beautiful photo and a great review :)
ReplyDeleteMy 5 year old son is the same as your daughter! He tends to lay his sunglasses down somewhere and they end up lost! I can't count how many pairs I've bought him! I always buy the cheapies though since he loses them a lot. Since the Real Kids Sunglasses have a strap that he could wear around his neck though, he might not lose them!
ReplyDeleteI really need these for my son as he's *very* active and plays outdoors *all* the time! :-)
ReplyDeleteBoy they have come along way in making kids glasses. Not only durability but looks. I remember my sister had to wear glasses at a very young age and she just hated them. They were bulky and she broke them often.
ReplyDeletemy kids are very active m these would b great for them ty
ReplyDeletethese glasses would be perfect for my little guy that is always on the go. i like that if he doesn't want to wear them the strap will keep them around his neck so he doesn't lose them.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get a pair for my niece
ReplyDeleteI like how you can choose between the traditional frames or the strap. Great looking glasses too.
ReplyDeleteI love the neck strap on these, I can't get my girl to wear sunglasses for anything. And glasses that can stand up to a toddler, pricesless!! She has broken 3 pair of mine!
ReplyDeletei like the little case for the glasses!
ReplyDeleteMy kids would LOVE a pair of these sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteI so want these for my daughter.
