Did you know the U.S. had a submarine back in 1776?  Well, it is true,   David Bushnell invented the first underwater attack ship called the "Turtle."   You can see it featured above.  He was really the only one who could pilot it, but he was too weak to take it into battle.  I had no idea this was the case, did you?
