Welcome!
Welcome to the Literary Giveaway Blog Hop!
The Literary Giveaway Blog Hop is hosted by me, Leeswammes. Between now and Wednesday, October 31st, you can hop to 50 different book blogs, all offering one or more giveaways of books or bookish items. All books will be literary (non)fiction or something close to that. Follow the links at the bottom of this post to find the other participating blogs.
It is very difficult for me to pick a book to giveaway, but I am going to attempt to showcase my favorite reads that truly have meat. I am staying away from general romances, young adult, or anything like that. This is a time to read a book that will really provide you with "meat" and merit, and it will probably not be "easy-reading." What I am going to do is list all the books that I have read and enjoyed that are "literary" in nature. Click on each picture to read more about each book.
Let me be the first to say that this is not an exhaustive list. You can check out the books I have read and reviewed here. I will let you choose a book from above or off my list that is $13 or under and considered literary. I can give you a full list if you win. I just don't want to make this post too long. So how do you enter the giveaway? Glad you asked. Fill out the rafflecopter below by 9 P.M. Pacific time on October 31. You can be an international follower as long as the Book Depository ships to you or you don't mind kindle books. If you are in the U.S., you will probably get your book from Amazon. Once you are done entering my giveaway, please hop on to the other blogs for even more chances to win!

ReplyDeleteMiracle. David Lloyd
ReplyDeleteIt was St peter wasn’t it.
who walked on water, if only
for a few seconds
before water became itself again
and his feet recalled
their human limitations?
But what a glorious moment -
to be absent in the amnesia of miracle,
unable to know the difference
between earth and sea, fire and air,
between the promises our bodies make
and the ones they keep,
stepping light years distant
from the beating heart, from friends
spellbound in the boat,
from fish in nets,
from even the simplest fact.
Thanks for letting me know about this hop~`I found a couple of blogs that sound really great! Thanks for the chance to win yours! :)
