M--Glenn Miller. I remember watching The Glenn Miller Story with James Stewart and June Allyson. I loved that film. I understand it took quite a few liberties with his life story, but the main idea was there. Now I tend to cry at the end of the film. It is so good!
My favorite Glenn Miller song? "Pennsylvania 6-5000." It really was the phone number that was important to Glenn Miller and his wife when they were dating/engaged. It was a real phone number, so that's kind of cool.
By the way, this is a really cool video! It is the real orchestra but after Miller's death.
