Today is H. I could really be cheeky and use the same song I did for the music challenge on my last post since it was written by Tony Hatch,but this challenge should be about stretching me.
I went way back into the archives, and I found the operetta composer Victor Herbert. I always loved the musical Naughty Marietta with Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald. It was the first of their films I saw. My grandmother introduced me to this movie.
Here she is singing "The Italian Street Song" by Victor Herbert. And you get to see a small portion of the movie. I love how Nelson Eddy coaxes the song out of her!!
