We are finally at day 8 of the 10 days of giveaways! I am very glad! It has been fun, but all good things must come to an end. Today's giveaway is very similar to yesterday's. I will be giving away one "surprise" book and a small box of flower stationery. This giveaway is open worldwide, and it will end on September 14 at 9 P.M. Pacific Time. You will notice the mandatory entry in the rafflecopter form is to leave a comment on this post stating a book that you read and actually liked though you thought you may not. I have had that experience. I read The Vixen Diaries, and I was sure I wouldn't like it. I absolutely loved it!
Don't forget to enter all my giveaways! There are a lot going on right now--even an Ipad2 giveaway!
And don't forget to hop along to the next blogs.
I won a book called the DMZ by Jeanette Windle. I wasn't sure about it - a very thick political intrigue book. It was fantastic and sent me on a journey. I am now reading the last of Jeanette's books and have enjoyed each and every one.
ReplyDeleteIt took me so long to get the Sookie Stackhouse series... but when I finally read it, wow, LOVE. And also getting obsessed with True Blood. Eric Northman is HOT.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I won the book: Stray, by Andrea Höst. I didn't think I would enjoy it, but I actually loved it...and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series. :)
ReplyDeleteGood question. Usually it's more like I think I will love a book and end up disliking it. Funny Arianne Cruz (above) mentions a book by Charlaine Harris though - I read one of her mystery novels because it was part of a book pack I got cheap on Ebay. I thought "Shakespeare's Champion" would turn out to be boring, not to mention it dips into work-out and weight lifting, but I ended up loving the characters and storyline. In fact I bought the rest of the whole series afterwards!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I'd not like and ended up liking would be The Midnight Breed Series by Lara Adrian..I thought it would be the same as few other vampire novels I've read but it was a refreshing take on vamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great giveaway! I am your new GFC follower.

Debbie Macomber "Between Friends" in the past I haven't really been able to get into her books but this one I fell in love with! Great read!
ReplyDeleteIt was a book I was reading for review. I thought it would be silly and poorly written, but it was fun. I was pleasantly surprised!
