Do you have a dream for your child? I would hope that every single one of you would answer in the affirmative. Even in the event that you do not have children, I am sure all of you have dreams for your future children or perhaps the special children in your life. As a teacher, I constantly have dreams for the children I see and teach on a regular basis. I am always trying to motivate them to do what they did not believe was even possible. I think that without a dream, this life becomes boring in the extreme.
Upomise challenged me to share my dream for my child in their 10-year-anniversary $20,000 contest. If you head to their dream wall, you can post your dream for your child and get a chance to win either ten $1,000 prizes or one $10,000 prize. Who couldn't use some extra money? I jumped at the chance and headed over to their dream wall. My dream for my daughter is unlimited possibilities. I want my daughter to have every possibility opened to her. I don't want her to be limited in her future life and career. When she grows up, she wants to be a paleontologist as of now , and if that is what she ultimately chooses to do, I want her to have the opportunity to do it. Should she choose something else, I would like for her to be able to pursue that opportunity as well. I want to do all I can to remove any obstacles to her dream.
I would encourage each of you to head over to the dream wall and share your dream for your children. It won't take you very long. Just click on the link at the end of this post, and you will be well on your way. While there, you can read other people's dreams, and you can "like" them. Upromise is an organization that has given away over 600 million dollars to their members through their rewards program, and this fantastic company would like to use this contest as a way to celebrate all the ways it has helped to fuel those sparks that made children into the people they are today and the adults they will be tomorrow.
If you would like to share your dream by commenting on this blog post, that would be a bonus. I would love to read about your dreams for your children, and you never know who might be touched by your story.
So what are you waiting for? Click on the link, and go share your dream! You just might inspire someone, and there is the chance you will one of the prizes. If you don't enter, you cannot win!
