It is clear that this book is written by a lawyer. I am one who likes writing that includes lots of detail and character development, and this does not include nearly enough of that for me. But that does not mean it is a bad book--not by all means! The message of the book is amazing--sexual harassment and sexism in a world that is still dominated by males. Even in this day and age, women struggle with this issue, and the author does a fantastic job of getting her point across.
I grew tired of the profanity--just my personal preference. The sex/bedroom scenes were rather necessary for the book, and they were not detailed, so I was glad about that.
For those who like straightforward books with no nonsense, this is the book for you. A little dry for my taste, but a very worthwhile book.

After leaving the corporate world, Kate was determined to master writing and riding, pastimes that often led to confusion in the telling. Her studies of creative writing proved to be more successful than her horseback adventures which included a broken leg! However, her love of horses remains.
Kate also took the opportunity to be more fully involved with her son’s life – too involved, he would say.
