This Day in History November 8, 1519

You've probably heard about Moctezuma, Cortez, and the Aztecs.  Well, this was the day when it all began.  On this date in 1519, Moctezuma welcomed Hernan Cortez the Aztec capital Tenochtitlan.  Moctezuma believed that Cortez was a god, but as we know, that changed all too soon.  After several months, Moctezuma became a captive in his own palace, and Cortez conquered the Aztec empire.
