I always love well-written devotional books--especially when they are written by strong Christian women.  And that is the best way to describe this book.  Joanna Weaver  has taken best-known portions of some of her books.  There are several things I love about this devotionals.  First of all, it is divided by dates, and there is a reading for each day of the week.  Secondly, there is a Bible reading assignment each day, and you are encouraged to respond to each day'sreading.  What a novel idea--actually having to use the Bible to do your devotions!

This is a devltional that I plan to start in earnest in January.  This is not a book where you are expected to read it cover to cover.  Let me warn you--you will get overhwlemed it you do that.  Her devotionals are timely, fairly short, and sometimes even fun.  This book is really intended for women to regain power over the prince of the power of the air, and to grow closer to God.
