About the Author, Sheron Long:

Sherry first visited France as a student in Grenoble and has returned dozens of times to soak in the joie de vivre. The best trip, though, was when Chula came along. Relying on her years as a publisher, Sherry coaxed Chula into telling the true story of her travels and then turned Chula's barks into print.

Chula Wula D'Augue

Chula, whose first name means "pretty" in Spanish, is a 9-year-old, 30-pound Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) with a true sense of adventure. Whether chasing squirrels in her backyard in Carmel Valley, California, or evicting feline squatters from her backyard in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Chula gives it her all. She's always ready to drop everything and go on a trip to town or across the globe. And she does it all with that lovely Sheltie smile.

Review (done by my blogger friend, Susan):

A truly delightful story of a travel to France, told from a dog's point of view.  In the enchanced version, the pictures, videos and music were done just beautifully.  This is just a fantastic book from front to back and an experience I've never encountered before.  "Dog Trots Globe—To Paris & Provence" comes in hardcover, standard e-book version and the enchanced e-book version.  A must read for all ages.

I give "Dog Trots Globe—To Paris & Provence" a 5 star rating!

My notes:  This is not a book I have read, but if I respond to the review, I would say it sounds pretty good.  I love books about animals--dogs are always winners.  It is hard to say whether I would get the physical copy since I don't have an Ipad, but I bet some of my lovely readers have one!

Giveaway:

Open to US 18 and older.  OIC is offering an iPad or hardcover edition of the book to the winner of the giveaway.  Enter on the Rafflecopter below. Be sure to enter by August 8 at 9 P.M. Pacific time.
