This Day in History May 27, 1933

Well, on this date in 1933, Walt Disney released Three Little Pigs in technicolor.  And, of course, the big hit was Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?  Considering the Depression, this became a big theme song for people of the time.  The audiences absolutely loved this film.  I have always loved the story, and the music is just classic!  There seems to be some censorship issues relating to a Jewish wolf and a Muslim issue as well, but I won't spend my time talking about that.  Instead, watch the entire film below!

  1. I tried... I really tried to watch the film because I remember loving it as a child. That pig's voice is way too annoying, though! :-)

  2. I don't get the Muslim reference, unless they just don't like the idea of even animated pigs. Sheesh.
