Send Unique Wedding Invitations

When it comes to wedding invitations, it is worthwhile to spend some quality time selecting the exact one you wish to send to your prospective guests.  When your friends and family read your invitation and see that you have taken the time to select one that either directly relates to your ceremony or gives them just a teaser of what they might expect, they will be impressed and possibly more likely to attend.  You want as many of your loved ones to share your special day with you, so make sure you take the time to make your selection.

There are several different considerations when picking a wedding invitation.  Do you add an RSVP card so your guests can communicate their responses to you?  The answer is an unequivocal "yes".   There is no better nor easier way for your attendees to advise you of their intentions to come to your wedding celebration.  Reflect carefully on what information you would like from your guests.  Definitely include their contact information and the number of guests attending, but adding more pertinent information to your RSVP cards can make your event go even more smoothly.  Add details such as allergy information, choice of meals, and even the age of the attendees.  Finding out this information before the wedding can keep potential problems from cropping up and putting a damper on your festivities.

Strict wedding etiquette is another piece of the puzzle when it comes to preparing your invitations.  Some of the questions to consider are as follows:

  • Will the celebrations be open to adults only, or are children invited as well?
  • Is there a specific dress code for the wedding guests?
  • Who is paying for the wedding?
  • Are both families equally involved in the nuptial celebrations?
It is imperative that you research wedding invitation etiquette and word your invitations accordingly so that everyone involved will know what to expect.
